Dan did a nice job of improving his exit speed from 63 average to 75 average...not perfect but vastly improved..swing makeover 278 https://youtu.be/Iti1JsUtThg |

The batter must take an initial position with his back foot behind a line defining the front edge of home plate. The batter will be called out if he hits the ball when the back foot is completely forward of that line. How will this effect hitter's who have a strong hip rotation which includes moving the rear foot forward quite a bit. Many have the lead foot on the forward batter's box line. Set up deeper in the box and hope the pitcher doesn't pitch to the front of the plate? |
