VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. – For senior softball players, life doesn’t get much better than competing in a venue as sweet as what’s offered here. That’s why Senior Softball USA has created the all new Tidewater Classic Championships here in mid-April 2015.

Games will be played at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex which is widely acknowledged as one of the nicest complexes east of the Mississippi River.

The facility has eight lighted softball/baseball fields, 300-foot fences that are 8 feet tall, a Luckstone mix infield, Hybrid Bermuda outfields and a Musco Lighting System.

In addition there are electronic scoreboards, shaded player benches, a shaded ADA accessible spectator area, full-service concession and restroom area, two gazebos with four picnic tables in each area and on-site parking with more than 830 spaces. The greater Virginia Beach area is widely known as one of the best beach communities in the Mid-Atlantic.

Fran Dowell, executive director of SSUSA, says that “in response to many requests by players for another Championship level tournament in the East, we have found a beautiful setting – Virginia Beach – and a wonderful complex – Princess Anne – for the Tidewater Classic.”

Play the SSUSA Eastern Trifecta; your gateway to the Triple Grand Slam.

Play in both the great new Tidewater Championships and the Atlantic Coast Championships, and get $200 off your Eastern National entry fee.

Contact SSUSA for more details.
