Days of Play: Tuesday and Thursday @ 9 AM (April -October–weather permitting)
Rockwood Field, (where the Worcester State Women’s Softball Team plays and adjacent to their campus) is at 486 Chandler St., Worcester. Parking can be tough here sometimes so arrive early! Drive into the large parking lot, the field is located near the rear of the parking lot (farthest away from the street), on the right. Be careful about parking in the spaces on Chandler St. We have been issued parking tickets there on occasion.
Logan Field is on Mill St. (near the Chandler St. end), by the intersection of Airport Drive, in Worcester.
(Note: we play at Rockwood Field during the summertime when Worcester State University is not holding regular classes. So in the early spring, while their classes are still in session, we will start our season at Logan Field. We switch to Rockwood throughout the summer months, and then when the students start coming back for the Fall semester, and we cannot find enough parking at Worcester State, we switch back to Logan Field. Also some high schools play their Central Mass. and state level playoff games at Rockwood and that may interfere with our use of the fields.
On occasion, you may find one of the fields being used by some other group. The City of Worcester owns both fields & is responsible for scheduling so we have no control over that. If you arrive at the field and find someone other than the WSCAA playing, try driving over to the other field. They are only 5 minutes apart.
