Prescott Senior Softball League
Teams in league: 16 teams
The Prescott Senior Softball Association (PSSA) was founded in 1990. The first chairman was local resident Tom Tobin, who has since passed away. An annual senior softball slow-pitch tournament is held annually in May in his honor. The Organization is an Arizona non-profit corporation and is governed by a ten-member Board of Directors elected annually by the playing members.
PSSA has about 200 players on 16 teams in three divisions. The “Major” division is the most competitive, while the ‘AAA’ and ‘AA’ divisions are progressively less competitive and, generally, comprise older players. PSSA serves players 45 and older, and has several in the 80+ range. Games are played Monday and Thursday mornings from February through November
