| April 18, 2011 joeball | Topic: Bats Discussion: Ultra vs. Combat for newbie Yeah, that doesn't sound like much of a value. I love other Mikens, haven't had an Ultra only swung someone elses, but can hardly justify getting so few swings out of them. |
| April 15, 2011 joeball | Topic: Bats Discussion: Ultra vs. Combat for newbie I'm new to the Sr Softball world. I can still occasionally hit one out with a NSA/USSSA bat. I'd like to know the differences between a Sr. Combat and an Ultra, from your experiences. If from what I've been reading if correct, the Ultra will give you some more distance but less durability. So better value with a Combat???? What is the approx. distance difference? Aren't all Combats a "soft" bat as compared with the stiffness of a Miken?? Just looking for some opinions. I know everyone has one. Thanks |
