| May 13, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Website comments Discussion: GSC SENIOR BAT IN RENO Hey Dan, It’s my understanding from Steve that he’s going to keep his promise & make everyone whole that was still owed a GSC bat…Is this still the case & if so, when should we expect a delivery? (for those that won’t be in Reno) |

I have a Dirty, nice Bat has a little pop, don't know how durable it is!! I'm only 6'2 220 I can only swing a 26oz....I'll leave that heavy lumber to you BIG GUYS like SWING! LMAO..Out of the entire Combat line my favorite is still the OLD "GRAY DA BOMB" All I swing is Combats! |

| May 2, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: How can SSUSA possibly reclassify an established Major+ team Dave, Since you mention me, I thought I would respond….IMO the Fan gabbers are playing where they belong…From a SSUSA rule the Fan Gabbers should be playing major + Or play 3 tournaments & request demotion…That’s the way I understand the rule to read! If I’m wrong please, correct me…..Yes at one time or another during the year all those folks played one tournament or the other….However that still leave Dave 1st base, Willie 2nd base, Cory LC, Kevin RC, Mark P, Jimmy LF & yourself catcher. That still leaves 7 players that were on last year’s team. Rules say you can only have 3 or play 3 tourneys and get reevaluated! This did not happen in this case. Hence the reason folks are bitching! |
| May 1, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Bats Discussion: GSC Bat approved for Senior Softball Congratulations Steve, I know the Senior Softball world put you though hell for all the things Mr.Gatey promised and never came though on……Looks like you have accomplished what you said you were going to do with this bat & it’s company…..I hope the nay Sayers will apologize for all the bashing, (I’m sure they will bye purchasing 1 of your Bats)…lol From the sound of things, the Bat is a keeper…I’ll let you know my opinion, when I receive mine! |
| May 1, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: The Rock balls Webbie, Your words are so true…As a thrower I HATE catching & throwing the Rocks…There are NO threads to grip…..I guess we can’s have it both ways…Since Slow pitch softball is a hitter’s game , I think everyone gets a win win with the ROCK! |
| April 29, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: How can SSUSA possibly reclassify an established Major+ team Dave & fitter, My bad I got my info 2 second hand! I think most believe from a competitive standpoint the Fan grabbers are where they belong in 55 Majors…..We are only questioning SSUSA’s rule on how it was done given the fact that you still have 7 players from last year’s team! So, if 3 of you left and went to another 55 major team would make that team now major +? |
| April 29, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: How can SSUSA possibly reclassify an established Major+ team The game was forfeited well into the 3rd or 4th innings, with the Fan Grabbers up big….The Coach then protested a player’s status with the team and then from what I was told the coach spit on the umpire causing a forfeit!!! IMO the UMP did the correct thing! So now that the fan gabbers have been moved down to majors, then proceed to win their 1st tourney, are they now rerated back to Major +? |
| April 28, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: How can SSUSA possibly reclassify an established Major+ team I played last year with the Fangrabbers, we played 55 Major + since they have been reclassified, does that now mean that my Status is now 55Majors or are the guys that left still rated Major +?. It’s also my understanding that if you play Majors and add 3 Majors + players, you are then promoted to the higher division………. So the Fangrabbers lose 5 out their 12 players from last year leaving 7 Major + players, then add a few new guys & get moved down to Majors after winning the TOC & finishing 3rd in the world…WOW SSUSA, you make a rule and can’t stick bye it!!!…I can see why folks are bitching, there seems to be NO clear-cut system you can follow, when it comes to ratings…..But there is a Rule on promoting & demoting teams, its just not always applied equally……. |
| April 10, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: LVSSA/SSUSA SOUTHWEST CHAMPIONSHIPS Hey Guys, What 50 major teams will be in Vegas at the ned of the month? Rated will be there! |
| March 8, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Swing analysis Mike & Kennard, While thinking at the plate, for most will mess up their swing, I think pitch selection has more to do with the swing than anything else…Most line drive hitters think more at the plate, while most powers hitters, as the 2 of you are! Lol... See a pitch and swing for the fences.I think, most line drive hitters try to go with the pitch & turn over the wrist on contact as to turning the wrist over in follow though like power hitters or free swingers! But as the saying goes “Some guys can hit & Some guys know how to hit”! |

| Jan. 27, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: TOC 55 division Neck that rule only applies to teams west of the Mississippi; North Carolina is east of the Mississippi last time I checked? Do those 2 players deserve to get Rings? Especially if the winner has already been decided? |
| Jan. 27, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: TOC 55 division Allan55 & Hitnrun5, Is that really true about Hollis & the Fangrabbers already being winners in their respective divisions, therefore receiving Rings for just being there? If that's the case, I would like to receive my ring since I played & also HIT the WALKOFF home RUN that qualified the Fangabbers to be able to attend this year’s TOC!! George Robinson & Jimmy Ross was also a part of this team and aren’t able to attend the TOC, they too should get their Ring! TOC rings should be for Roster Players only! Johnny Hose feels, if you can’t attend the TOC you don’t deserve or will get a Ring, but he’s allowing 2 ball players that live in North Carolina to play in the TOC with the Fan Grabbers (because they can afford to go) thus giving them Rings just for their participation… That’s BS!! I have told A&& HOSE just that! (SSUSA how is this so?) When did North Carolina & AZ become touching States? Am I pissed??? YEAP….Play bye the rules, everyone else has too! No Exceptions! |
| Jan. 25, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: OFF season Hitting drills Mike, You have WAYYYY too much time on your hands, but I do like this...funny as hell!!! |
| Jan. 23, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: TOC 55 division KBL, I hear you LOUD & CLEAR...lol My point was that this is not a vacation and I'm glad that SSUSA has all the events scheduled for the teams that do take out the time to travel & play in the TOC....but that doesn't leave them off the hook for the # of teams playing in any given division...I just think it should be schedule, so that ALL or MOST of the teams that qualify for the TOC should have an opportunity to play in the TOC & because it's held in February or the off season, to me it's just a waste of time & money traveling 6000 miles (I’m in California) to play 3 teams none of which is in our division over 3 days.....just my 2 cents! |
| Jan. 23, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: TOC 55 division Good luck to my old 55 Fangrabber team in next month's TOC...You guys should bring home the rings, but a 3 day tourney with only 4 teams is a little over kill don't you think SSUSA? Have fun guys & go travel safe! |
| Jan. 21, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: loosing toenails I have had the same issues, what I did was, make sure before each tourney, I can get a Peticure most men won't do that, cause they think it only for women or gay guys! (watch it Fellas)!!! ...But a good foot rub does wonders for the body & mind! Make sure your nails are cut below the toe & buy your shoe size a 1/2 size bigger & wear two pair of socks when palying to help support those nails....You can also buy that nail fungus stuff in the drug store that will make your nails turn back white & strong...... Good luck I kknow its painful! |
