| Jan. 16, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Tournment Pitcher from NY looking to join a team Cerce, it's really obvious to me you’re playing in the LOWER Divisions, Most Major & Major+ Senior teams, have hitters though out the line-up. Hitters with Power, Bat Control and most important patients to adjust to what you call an underhand pitch!!(I’m still laughing), when you get ur schedule out for your season this 2013 PLEASE POST it? I’m sure a lot guys reading this thread would LOVE to face you…..Myself included, I just hope you’re all PADDED up when we do…I’m still laughing!! |
| Jan. 16, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Tournment Pitcher from NY looking to join a team Now that I think about it, he must have done this to get a raise out of us Old men…If he’s really serious, he’s not very smart and EVERYONE THAT I KNOW will go middle…. Every player on the field can talk trash EXCEPT the Pitcher… Unless he doesn’t care for his own safety…....I’m still laughing!!! |
| Jan. 16, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Tournment Pitcher from NY looking to join a team Cerce, Are you throwing underhand slow pitch? if so...Please Please Please Please bring it ON....E4 I'm in line right behind you...lol Cerce you will get lit up like a X-mas tree....that you can take to the bank....This is the funnest thing I heard from A player since I started playing softball 35 years ago...LMAO This is NOT a pithcer's game, it a HITTER's Game....I'm still laughing..... |
| Jan. 14, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Safely increasing your Testosterone Levels Guys are you really serious? if you are, I’ve got some beachfront property for sale in Compton, why don’t you just donate to me instead of putting this CRAP in your body…Seems like everyday someone comes out with the latest greatest pill that will make us feel 30 again….Look we all are aging, Nature will take it’s course, weather you take this CRAP or not Were all going to die! Why enhance the process bye taking this stuff, you’re only fooling yourself……But if you really thinks it works for you, then so be it..Your belief is your reality!!!! But when they find tumors, Blood clogs & other stuff clogged up in your body, don’t ask yourself, HOW DID I GET THAT! Because I think you would already have that answer!!!! The best thing for the body is WATER WATER WATER, flushing & sweating & exercise. Try it, your dick might even stay hard! Sorry for the outburst, but I've had too many people in my life die from prolonged use of Crap like this & not knowing the long terms effect! |

| Jan. 5, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Cure for AAA after 3rd HR! The extra fielder sounds like a good Idea! BUTTTT My question would be how does this protect the pitcher? I always thought when hitting the ball up the middle, the ball will reach the pitcher before it gets to the infielders, therefore making the pitcher a defensive player as it should be…..When guys play 5 man infield, there are still holes to hit the ball though, be it up the middle or slightly to the left or right of the pitcher or opposite side of the 5th infielder……I have never notice guys going up the middle just because the HR’s are gone, if anything they cut down on their swing, as to not hit the ball out the park for a DBO.. You guys give hitters too much credit for hitting the middle, its not as easy as all make it sound, guys at the AA & AAA level on a consistence bases just don’t have good enough bat control! |
| Jan. 3, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Number 2 hitter I actually think the # 2 hitter belongs to your most productive GUY, be it average, power, or bat control, he should be able to do all these things very well and consistence. He should be able to hit behind the runners, hit the gaps, and Yes J-dub hit the home run…A consistence 700+ hitter at ALL TIMES…..jmo |
| Jan. 2, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: place best hitters last strategy Capt, just look at it this way....Some of us THINK THE GAME and some just play the game!!! |
| Jan. 1, 2013 rightrj1 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: More 1-1 Count Talk This is very interesting, reading all the comments, we all sound like those A-Holes on Capitol Hill...lol I think we should change all divisions to "1 Pitch" that way the games moves fast for SSUSA, the pitchers have a little advantage over the Hitters, and those that really know how to hit...Will.....IMHO |
| Dec. 3, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Which Bat should I use? Big Mike you'll have to purchase a USSSA or ASA bat for BP, they'll take longer to break in and are really more durable then any senior bat... |
| Dec. 3, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Grading the Rule Changes I agree with the changes to the AAA hr being an out after the max has been hit...However I would also like that rule placed in the upper divisions also. Although most Major + players can hit it out at will, it makes for a more balanced game when these big guys come to the plate, all hrs have been hit and they have NO BAT CONTROL in order to get a base hit....(I know I'll always get the argument if you hit a ball 300+Ft it shouldn't be a out)IMO if you play at the major & major + level you should know how to get a base hit with bat control..PERIOD! the dead ball out speeds up the game also...I played in a tourney where the open inning was " 1 PITCH" walk, hit or out! I really liked it, the open inning when really fast! |
| Dec. 3, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Which Bat should I use? Big Mike, IMO the only thing you can do nowadays to perserve a bat is to break it in with about 30- 50 BP swings..Then put it ur bag until game time at bats only, no more BP......Just my 2 cents!! |
| Nov. 30, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Performance enhancing Jeff, I think the line is drawn at the Illness. I’m speaking Softball!! I’m just wondering why the guys that take that shit without any Illness or Injury but just for looking good & cut at 50+ They have little talent, so they need that edge (I guess) in order to compete, and that’s where this conversation started! Taking Prescribed Steroids for Psoriasis is not something I know about. I do believe that taking Roids will crew you up over the long haul & I’m not a very big FAN of Doctors and their prognosis of the goings on in our bodies…I will die sooner then later if I have to take medication in order to live pain & dieses free! |
| Nov. 30, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Performance enhancing Kennard No worries, I understand about you guys taking whatever it is that your Dr. states you need for the CONDITION THAT YOU HAVE.... But not for being able to compete on the 50+ Senior Slow Pitch Softball Major Plus Level!!!! It funny to me that at this age some have EGO's so big or are just addicted to taking this CRAP is beyond my level of understanding!!! Guys drink your water, lift light weights, do Cardio on a regular bases and the most important thing we can do on a regular BASES is GET LAID!!!!!! |
| Nov. 30, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Hard time getting ahold of Team 1 sports re: broken Ambush Big Mike, I'll have to agree with you on this one, My Ambush lasted about 600 swing, took 500 to break-in once It got hot it cracked...My Black & White Cent, have well over 1200 swings lasting a little longer!! Alan's a good guy he'll take care of you one way or the other! |
| Nov. 26, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Performance enhancing Hey we all take some form of medical enhancements in order to play! I understand that! IBPROFEN, Wintercrest, braces, etc yea no issues from me......But shooting up, HGH and all the other PED’s I just can’t put my finger on why guys over 50 want to do that, just to play ball!! |
| Nov. 25, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Performance enhancing I was wondering how many of you guys over 50 are taking HGH or some other form of performance enhancing stuff?….The reason I’m asking is because while in PHX last week I saw some very remarkable play bye some guys 60+..Don’t get me wrong, I know some guys still and always have worked out…However when guys 60+ still have the muscle mass & definition of a 30 year old, I have to question what their doing to maintain their body structure! I was told bye several ball players that HGH is used a lot more in Senior Ball then is known! If that’s the case, what is it supposed to do for you? Just curious! I don’t expect to get confessions! |
| Oct. 17, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: The way softball was played back when: Mike I agree, I do like the senior bats, however if we go back to the older bats and the Red or Blue dots Balls, I'll be cool with that. Defense played a big part back then because the outfield could play the coed line on the little guys, knowing that they couldn't (for the most part) burn you. Now we have to play 290 on everyone! |
| Oct. 17, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: BSC World Mario sounds like you guys had a good time, Thxs I'll talk to Reedus! Crump, I knew you would know! Would you happen to know the BSC contacts? Doesn't the BSC do a big Labor Day weekend tourney in Colombus, GA? |
| Oct. 16, 2012 rightrj1 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: BSC World Mario, Thanks for the information on the BSC...I know they whole their world tourney labor day weekend in Coloumbus GA, do you know if they'll have a 50 division then?...My Team R-Time won the BASA in 2011 and took 2nd to Reedus and his crew this year..I'm done with BASA (poor Management)so I'm needing a new tourney to go too for the guys. |
