First of all, thanks to garyaz for your response. Let me say, I could care less about personalities or conflicts; I am just interested in a bat. I agree that to bring a new product to market can be a difficult. I was involved with manufacturing products thousands of times more complicated than a bat, so I do understand the problems, especially for a new concept. Basically most of us guys have been pretty patient, we just would like info about how things are going. garyaz, you say that you know the CORE is worth waiting for, well how do you know? Have you swung one, have you even seen one. If you have any info, how about sharing. I too have high expectations, but I know that things don’t always work out as planed.

Once more we are in the dark. Is there any information at all out there on the progress of this fiasco? Does anybody that has an opportunity to test this bat have any input?

Rumor has it that a bat has come off the production line.

Looks like this puppy isn't going to fly. The website (gscbats.com)is a sham and spite of many requests, not a word of information has been forthcoming. Looks bad.

Another month has gone by and still no definitive expectation of delivery. I spent a lot of years in manufacturing and appreciate how difficult it is to build a production line and bring a product to market. However, what is not difficult is to keep the stock holders (I.E. those of us who have paid for a bat and are expecting delivery) apprised of the situation. There have been no email updates, no information regarding testing of prototypes, nor do we have any idea how long we will have to wait for delivery based on how many bats are pre-sold. At the very least, most of this information could be put on one of the several Gates Bats websites that exist.

I would't mind seeing a back-order list to see where I stand on delivery. I have been waiting since September.
