Discussion: Tinnitus relief

My friends, just had TMJ surgery 3 weeks ago (broken cartilage, jaw popped out of socket a bit), unfortunately, my tinnitus is still with me. Doctor will not allow me to chew for 3 more weeks; have lost 8 pounds!

Hey Nancy, been out of pocket the last few days. Enjoyed all these memories for sure; thanks guys. 1955 was a great year at our house--indoor plumbing and our first T.V.!!

I learned the hard way that you really have to pay attention to what you are doing. Brushed my teeth one morning, reached for the mouthwash and gargled with Old Spice. Burned all the way down, but had great smelling breath all day!

Thanks, STLO; that made me feel better. There are 3 major signs that one is getting older: 1) loss of memory, and I forget the other 2.

Discussion: Please Forgive My Naivete!

Firestick, we are Strykers, we play in the South, mostly SPA, but we always play Birmingham, SSUSA.

I appreciate all your comments and others are still welcome. I think the thing that puzzles me most is when someone goes to a team where the roster is 19-20 players, knowing that playing time is going to be very limited and it is simply to be on a "winning team". It probably sounds stupid, but at my age, I had much rather play all the time on a competitive, but losing team. One never knows when it will be the last game or the last tourney!
