Discussion: Arthroscopic Partial Meniscectomy (APM)

I also had it done twice , once in 2014, I was 64 and that helped for two years and had my 2nd in 2016 which removed what meniscus I had left. I was told by the Doctor that a total knee would be my next option but I will take the 4 years that I have been give with this procedure.

I am curious if the study took into consideration you physical condition, I'm 6'3" and have always been around 205 and have always trained in the gym to some extent. Based on what I have seen I would say you condition, particularly your weight would have a bearing on this, just my opinion.

I also like the swing weight of this bat and agree it feels more like a 26, performance is equal to my 26 Ultra 2 but my concern is that I have rattle at 175 hits with 44/375 balls and based on past experience they it not a good sign...... time will tell.

Roger
Go to www.sportstechnique.com, that is Bogie's site, tried to email but your address must have changed. Good stuff but it is really about the right hip leading the swing but I guess we get old and lazy and sometimes forget the basics, all the best.

Paul...to win the ACC, which is the best tournament in the east and winning the USA Championship (btw how did you qualify to play in that anyway) and you indicated you won one other tournament in five, not to mention you took the World to the "if "game....that's would be two 1st and two 2nds in five tournaments. If this is correct it would seem the bump is justified plus you are a young 60's since just moving up and you can bring up the guys you left behind. You keep scoring in the 20's and play defense you will be good to go in Majors.....only problem you will find there is nobody to to play except Dalton and Vegas. BTW we played Major in Vegas and not one team went limit on HR's and most games in 20's not 40's.

So I think here's your options, play East/West for 1 or 2 seed, lobby to change the rule, and if you go to East/West and don't win go to Vegas and play for seeds 3 and above and of course you always have the option to stay if home.

Discussion: Las Vegas World ( batters box )

If you can't move the front line forward due to it lining up with the base line then move strike matt back......shouldn't effect the pitcher, they very seldom use the rubber anyway.

Discussion: Las Vegas World ( batters box )

That would be correct by the book but it sure makes it difficult for the tall players with a big stride,, the only way to stay in, is to stand back in the box and then it is difficult to cover the strike that hits the front of the plate and when they do it is usually hit in the dirt or turf, which could or could not be a problem for the infielders. I'am not a pitcher but it sure seems the more experienced pitcher throw to the front of the plate. I don't have a suggestion for a solution but I do think it should something for consideration going forward.

Dave, it is my understanding that the front of the box should be 4' feet from the back rectacle of the plate......is this correct and if so are you saying that is the case at Big League Dreams and other parks. It did seem short to me and I thought the set up was not taking into consideration that the front of the plate is a strike. Just asking.

Discussion: WHO ARE CURRENTLY THE MOST POWERFUL HITTERS IN SENIOR SOFTBALL

Sparky
Not sure why the animosity to a player who basically is passing on what he observed, and I have played with this gentlemen and he one of the best high average hitters in the game as well as a excellent pitcher with numerous championships, with integrity with no reason to be nothing but forthrigt. As to the players you mentioned I have played with some of them and against most and none have hit the ball as far as what has been mentioned..... which I could care less about and have no respect for the author of this thread, and I can personally tell you that none of the players you mentioned would act in such a manner that I have witnessed. I respectfully request this thread be closed and for the author to understand humility is a virtue.

Discussion: USA Championship seeding game

It wasn't their fault no one showed up, anyone can enter, they understood the importance of the tournament and spent the dollars and the time to participate, which would probably be between $3,000-$4,000 for all the players costs....they earned it because they showed up and made the investment. If we could get teams to show to a great venue and compete then they would know where they stand and if you can't finish 1 or 2 at the Eastern you really have no business going to Vegas to compete. I don't understand when the Eastern teams develope their schedule why this tournament isn't included. So with that said don't blame the team that made the commitment, and if your team is considering Vegas go to the Eastern and see if you have the talent to compete before investing thousand's of dollars on travel, unless of course you our going for the social experience.

What needs to change is for teams in the East to take advantage of a great venue and a central location and come play.....I don't believe there is any restriction on entry.
