Medium taps from about 18"-24" away, up and down the barrel, rotating 1/2 inch, up and down the barrel, rotate, repeat. Worked great. I've had the same bat three seasons in. (Reebok Melee). I don't discount or frown upon any break in methods. If I needed a bat for a same day tourney, and just got it, I just might be agressive at the TP as well. But at least I'm not sending my bat to the Gillette Doctor. |
