Webbie25 You forgot to mention that it only works with the HSFG (High Speed Frequency Grease). Thats where the big expense is.

Dave: Thanks for the clarification, the player in question has a bad shoulder but can play 1B only and cannot swing a bat.
Thanks

This question may have been asked before, but during a discussion with some managers it came up.
12 man roster, 11 on the field but 1 player can play defense but cannot swing the bat. Is this legal and this player can only play defense ?
Thanks

Discussion: Knee replacement

It seems I need a partial knee replacement, my question is: How many of you have had partial and do you recommend a full knee replacement instead ?
I have one Dr that would prefer full over partial.
I'm 75 and they say a partial will only last 15-20 years, I told him; I doubt that I'll last 15-20 years.
Opinions please.
Thanks

Hey Rick,
This is Tom Townsen.
I know a guy that might be looking to play next week, his name is Ted Roluffs and he plays here in Prescott. Good player and a really good hitter.
I gave him your contact info so he will probably give you a call.
His number is 928 710-6406

Discussion: What Balls are we using in Phoenix ?

Not trying to stir things up but I haven't played a Tournament since 2018 and was wondering what ball is being used.
I'm playing 75's and couldn't hit it over the fence in 3 hits (except the foul fences).
I hear good and bad about the Baden but I really don't care, just curious.
Thanks

Just an FYI: If you come to Prescott in late October you can come down to Pioneer Park and watch for yourself. We play Mon & Thurs in Senior Softball League @ 9:00 or 10:30.
I played a lot of Tourney ball from 2010-2018 and then had spinal surgery but that's another story.
I played for Base Hawgs 60aa, Bucky's 60aaa, Yavapai 65aa, Duke City Dynamite 70aaa and PDC70aaa out of Colorado.
you can call or text me at 928 277-7251

I might be interested in playing with you guys. I'm 75, play Rover or any OF position and can also play SS.
I'm from Prescott Az. My question for you is.
Are you playing in the Winter Worlds in Phoenix in November ?

Same here, we went to the 52/300 ball last year and the bounces are much worse.

Big question, I am currently on a 60AAA roster and play in a utility role but I can start playing 70's in November. The 70's team is also a AAA Team. I think this is a problem but not sure. I have already notified my new Manager about this issue bur am just wondering. Our first 70's Tourney will be Winter Worlds in Phoenix in November, just trying to get in front of this.
Thanks

Bill Puls and Mel Sogge. Not softball but they were my little league and pony league coaches that always thought I had natural ability. This was 50-55 years ago and I have never forgotten either of them.

Here is my take..I don't know Tim or Slap..But the question was asked and answered. It will never make everyone happy, but the answers seldom do..I have no agenda but just enjoy the fact that I am 67 and can still play at a decent level is a positive..SSUSA, I am sure will address this issue in due time..In the mean time, I will continue to enjoy what playing days I have left..Hope everyone has a great holiday season..
