| April 8, 2016 JC13 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Rocket Launcher I used the rocket launcher this past weekend in Manassas VA, all I have to say is that this is the hottest bat out the wrapper I have ever used. I hit 2 bombs dead center and line drives where screaming up the middle. I have to say that this bat is the best senior bat on the market. |

| June 15, 2013 JC13 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: RE: Need Help well things are starting to fall into place, I have a mutual agreement with Allentown Patriots Park, they will be willing to allow us to use their facility, web site. We can schedule double headers at 6-8 PM, 8:00 games would be played under the lights, also have access to the scoreboard. The dates are as of right now are Thursday, Friday, Saturday,(Aug-Nov). Entry league fee should be no more than 20-25 dollars per player. Now about the league- 50 and over We have decided to use wooden bats. We would be using the new ASA ball Field is 250ft to all fields We feel with these rules will bring a competitive balance for all teams. We need teams to make this happen. Looking for 6-8 teams to start. Who wants to Play!!!!!! JC . |

| June 6, 2013 JC13 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: NEED HELP I AM LOOKING TO START A NEW MENS 50 AND OVER SLOW PITCH LEAGUE, ( WOODEN BATS) ? I have put together league rules and I in the process of securing fields for next year. The fields would be in the ABE area. I don't have any experience doing this, the reason for the league is this, their is not enough senior leagues in the area. I am tired playing with the young kids. If anyone has any ideas on how to operate or run a league I would appreciate the help. If you know of any players or teams that would be interested please forward this post to them. I am thinking wood bats for the simple reason makes the games very competitive for all teams, and also thinking about a descent ball to use. All teams must have at least a team shirt or complete uniforms will decide on this at a later date. Double headers at least once a week or maybe twice a week not sure on how many games for the year, possibly have a tournament at the end of the schedule. Let me know your thoughts and ideas, also let me know if you are interested.... Thanks, JC |

Games are played during the week, very competitve league, at least 3 of the teams play tournament ball at the AAA level. I am starting to put out feelers for next year, i don't want to have to scramble for players next year. Just a few things about the league, very friendly hitters park, about 275 or 280 all the way around, they use a Trump balll, and you can use utrip bats, NO SENIOR BATS ALLOWED. I'm looking for ball palyers with some pop, and also spme singles hitters. All postions available, we will be holding try outs once we have enough pl;ayers.If interested and you know of others players all are welcomwe.
