Thanks for responding. Most directors would not.

Game times for the playoffs were pushed up on Sunday morning because of chances of rain so therefore that sharing fields explanation doesn't fly. I have no problem in round robin games but as for playoffs losing on a tie is completely BS. 1-1 count is better in my opinion.

As for your two umpires they were from Kingman both old as hell didn't hustle and one even complained his eyesight was bad. So that explanation of getting the best umpires isn't working for me either.

I won't be back but I wish you luck with teams in the future considering your rules, umpires and crappy balls.

Discussion: Required Face Masks

Masks should be optional. What next no sliding, everyone uses the same bat, the right fielder can't use a glove, the catcher has to be left handed?

We are all adults and should be given the choice. Pitchers know the risks. We all agree on the safety issue but people should decide for themselves not be told by some director.

I can see Bullhead also making rules like if the game is tied in the second inning the visiting team gets extra runs or the home team has to play an inning with 8 players.

Don't we have enough government control in our lives?

Going to farther fences will only eliminate the 5 man and make the pitchers more of a target, besides wear out the outfielders. There is a limit on HR's so that's not a problem.

I agree that the balls were horseshit and many teams would have not shown up if they knew they were using those crappy ASA balls.

I won't even go back to how bad the umpiring was................

My buddy Steve from AZ invested 10K in the company and got two free bats. Guess that's one way to get a bat...HAHA

I wont dog the director from Bullhead but the stupid rule that if teams tie after 7 innings then the visiting team gets 1/2 a run and is deemed the winner is ridiculous. Stupidest rule I have ever heard of. This stupid rule was also used in the playoffs and there was no conflict with time restraints for fields.

I can honestly say our team will never go back.

The fields were okay but the umpires who worked the major+ games were probably in the top five worst umpires I have seen in my 30 years of playing softball. Inconsistent ego maniacs who thought people were there to watch umpire dramatics rather than the players. Whatever team yelled the loudest got the call.

My two cents. Congrats to AZ Elite..

You left out the parts that if he thinks you are too good a player he bans you from playing or if he doesn't like you he won't let you play.

Discussion: New Hyper Z pretty impressive!

That Hyper Z Mango talked about now has 275 hits on it and no cracks. Three of the guys hitting it were 6'4 and over 250lbs. The balls were flying 360 feet plus. The bat is impressive.

And for the record I played league the other night and the only bats allowed were aluminum single wall. The problem: only one guy had a decent bat we all had to use. And fields with no fences.

Playr 25. The new Hyper Z has a slight end load feel but nothing compared to the z3000 or z4000. I would recommend if you like an end load buy a bat an ounce heavier than what you normally swing. The bat needs about 50 hits to break in.

I have hit the hyper Z now for a few months and its as good or better than any other senior bat.

Paco13 anyone can hit it 301 but when I laser the 6 hole with my new Hyper Z all your SS will do is say WOW!

Super V 10 I did hit a bomb into the 30mph wind two weeks ago that went 320 feet. Enough said there and I agree technology keeps getting better.

Louisville has done a great job making this bat worth the $$$$$.

Discussion: Best Hitters in Senior Softball

Maybe I am a little biased because he is my teammate but Ron Parnell is probably the best hitter in senior softball. He's unselfish hits for power and average and will hit a backside ground ball if the situation calls for it. The guy works as hard as anyone being prepared for every tournament we play.

Darrell Beeler hits the ball harder and farther than anyone I have seen in senior softball.

And finally I would put several of my Sommerville teammates to include Paul Sallow, Mike Reed, Ronni Salcedo, Chito Alvidrez, John Heller, and Brian Hausner, as some of the top senior softball hitters right now.

There is a reason we went 49-3 last year.

Discussion: Plantar Fasciitis

jawood

Mine hurt at the heel and in the middle of my foot.
What uncle Mike described is how I taped athletes with shin splints for years.
If you can find a pain doctor I'm telling you that the pain injections will eliminate the pain. kenalog is a safer form of an anti inflammatory than cortisone. No long term side effects.
You will just need to take everyone's advice and figure out what works for you.
I use kinesio tape (Rock Tape) for any type of swelling injury and that stuff works wonders for me.
You can get Rock Tape anywhere and try putting that at the source of the pain. just make sure you pull the rock tape snug otherwise it's useless.

Good luck brother.

I thought I had plantar fasciitis but after seeing a pain specialist it was determined the tendon that runs deep in my calf under your foot was inflamed.
I received pain injections deep into my calf and haven't had any pain since. Once your calf muscle becomes fatigued the tendon gets overworked and becomes inflamed.
find a pain doctor that will give you injections of lidocaine and maybe kenalog and that may solve the problem. I know several people who had the same problem and it wasn't plantar fasciitis.

Good luck

Show me better fields than BLD in the midwest or east coast. You won't be able to.

As for your bag being searched, BLD's were very expensive to build and they make money back through concessions. You could have brought water in.

I'll help you out for the vegas fields:

National League parks to the left American League parks to the right.
