Leave it to Einstein to go off topic again. Look Joe, no-one cares who you want, or don't want, to talk to. Adress the issue, or shut the hell up.

Hey Einstein, What did you not understand about Fran's request to "PLEASE STOP"? You just "have" to have the last word, don't you.

Hey Badboy,I hate to see you go. I love pushing Joe's buttons. He's ridiculously easy, and I laugh my ass off at his responses. All he cares about is discrediting us, without ever answering the "real" questions about himself or his team. It's really pretty funny when it comes right down to it. Good luck out there. It's a jungle. LMAO!!!!!!!!!

Einstein, GOTCHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ROTFLMAO!

In answer to your "I refuse to answer", I defer to Mango's post in the thread about changing the message board.

See Ya. That is, if you ever decide to leave the West Coast.

Sincerely

Discussion: Best most competitive tournament of the year

Hey Einstein,

Since Your 50+ team only attended 4 Nationals out of a possible 10 that were held, your take on Las vegas being the best, most competitive tourney of the year can only mean as compared to the NSA West National, the 4 team USSSA World, and the SSWS in palm springs.

Since you won the first 2, and went 0 & 2 at Palm springs, I would have to believe that there must have been some competition there as well.

Now, don't go getting all hot under the collar because I teased you. You have to expect that kind of thing when you come across as such an expert on absolutely all phases of Senior softball.

Yours Truly

Discussion: tryouts for major plus national tournament team

MK39, I knew that you would agree. Not trying to be mean spirited. You boys have a super team, as you showed in Des Moines with your final two victories over a very strong Damons team. Actually, I have nothing but respect for "all" the major plus teams. No-one sandbags into that division, that's for sure.I just wanted to break Joe's chops, as I know he can take it with a smile. Good luck with the tryouts. I'm sure that everyone is trying to find the right mix for next year, and only time will tell.

The Georgia Crush has proven themselves to be the best darn Major Plus team in the country for this year Joe. Their wins in Plano and Hutchinson (where they trounced you guys horoughly) give them the bragging rights for this year. Better luck next year!!!

Staff
Why was the inflamatory post by MK39 that started the whole thing not removed. It certainly would be considered disparaging toward the entire group of men who comprise that team, and, was the reason for the other mudslinging to start in the first place (SPA thread, 9th post).

Discussion: When all is said and done...

William Wallace: If, what you said in an earlier post is true (which I am now starting to doubt) and I quote;

" i amjust a lowly little senior league player fromva who at one thyme in the yer of ourlord 2004 considered playing sume tourney ball at the aa level. nothing more nothing less."

Why are you so involved in trying to get people to boycott certain organizations? By your own admission, you haven't played tournament ball, and you aren't from an area that would be affected even if you did.

Either you are just a rabble rouser, or you are not who you claim to be. I expect that you will come back with something about the cause of freedom, but because you aren't a tournament player, your request to boycott can't carry much weight with those who are.

I noticed in Einstein's post that Kelly's Sports schedule had a large number of tournaments in his area in California, so I assume that most of the California teams could boycott the associations and still have plenty of ball to play. The same holds true for Florida with the Half Century Org.

The rest of the country would be hard pressed to put together a tournament schedule if they boycotted all the org's that are involved.

Discussion: out of area exemption rule

JAH#4 Very astute observation. I was thinking the same thing. All the same rhetoric with a different typing style. I even wondered if maybe it was Mike Kelly using a new board name to conceal his identity. In one of his posts, he gave Mike Kelly's phone number, which would lead one to believe that he at least knows him pretty well.
Perhaps William wouldn't mind coming out from behind his historical figure, and identifying who he is, and for whom he plays.

Walk:
Very well put...I obviously am not as informed as you appear to be.
You have brought some things to light that I was unaware of, and quite succinctly (how's that for a five letter word) I might add.
Thanks for the input about no chance of the rules being changed for 2005. You are absolutely right about the timing of the summit being very poor.
i mean it when I say thank you. I have learned from your post.

Einstein: I have no interest in getting into a pissing match with you, although you did resort to some very old, very worn cliches in your attack on me. I must have struck a nerve. SORRY ABOUT THAT. I should have said "Trying on here will do no good."

If it is true that CA is divided into North & South, then that is trully bogus, and I am in your corner for change.

By the way, I'm not "dirt", I'm even older.

Einstein: You sound like a broken record.

WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA - The National Senior Summit is scheduled for January
15 and 16, 2005. This will be the 7th annual meeting where all the
sanctioning bodies for senior softball get together to review the "State of
Senior Softball in America." Anyone with concerns and/or information that
you would like discussed at this meeting should contact one of the
delegates. Each member association will have two delegates present and a
number of players from throughout the Country will be present as Advisary
Board Members.

If you want change, make the trip.
Crying on here will do no good.
