Years ago after suffering with glasses that fogged up constantly even after using anti-fogging treatments for my glasses, I finally decided to try contact lenses. With proper fitting and proper examinations, I found that wearing my distance vision prescription improved my hitting and my fielding self confidence. The ball was finally always where I perceived it to be, now all I had to do was put the bat or the glove in the right spot. When I think of how many years I failed to do that, it kills me. I mean I was a good ballplayer but my fielding, even at pitcher, became something special. Been going to the same eye doctor for a lot of years now and I just hope he doesn't retire any time soon.
