I can also play infield. Ready to play fundamentals and have fun. Very dependable and can still play. Been playing at BLD in Mansfield and umpire there also. |

They bitch and moan about everything,like a bunch of women. They would complain if they were hung with a new rope. I have umpired seniors from 45-80 most of them are good guys and just want to play,but most teams have "THAT GUY" who cries about everything and some teams have more than 1.I would give my left arm to play for a sponsored team that were all on the same page.They run it like a club if you don't play their way(hot bats and classes) then they beat you to death with their assinine comments. I have been trying to get on a DFW Senior Team and they don't seem interested in new blood to perpetuate the "SENIOR GAME". Sorry these guys have left a bad taste in your mouth. If you are ever wanting to come to Texas and start a branch.... |

| March 22, 2012 LS32 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Knee(s) Replacement i had my left knee replaced in 2006 -----BEST THING I EVER DID,,,,i was crying walking by the time I had it done!!i was back at work in 2 weeks but i sit at a desk all day---I umpire 2-3 nights a week and am about to start playing 2 nights a week also.No pain after surgery went home in 2 days.I would definitely recommend it, I was miserable and in pain all the time before the operation,IT WAS A GOD SEND FOR ME,,,,GOOD LUCK--Oh BTW I will be 53 in April. |

| Feb. 8, 2012 LS32 | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: dfw texas players looking for a team i cant do Irving on Tuesdays,its my late night at my real job.I am cool with Arlington.I umpire at Big League Dreams in Mansfield but it may be too far for you.I can check with Arlington Rec and see when they start @ either Randol Mill or Harold Patterson.That way we dont have to use 50+ players,I eventually want to get on a good senior team and play tournaments some also.If you know a few more guys to get us to 12 guys or so,I know a few younguns maybe we can get something going. |
