I have found that it being able to grip the ball for that mille second it not only gives it more spin at times, but more inclined to hitting knuckle balls.

When are you going to start taking applications for those interested in attending? Is there a form to fill out?

Altered-Illegal? Is there a deference in the eyes of the SSUSA staff? Is the penalty not the same for either?

Count me in. Sounds like at great weekend. Sure will be ready to experience some warmer weather by then. Always need hitting tips and someone to point out my bad habits. Would there be time and personal available to give one on one tips on footwork and covering say 1st. base?

Discussion: Reebok Melee's

Have heard that when Reebok chose to discontinued bat sales, it was two of their engineers that pitched their construction and new finish idea to Dudley and that is how the Lighten came about. Or similar events close to that?

Discussion: Dudley Lighning 12 inch senior bat. Webbing

Mine is the 13" model, should be the same core though. I have close to 200 hits on it and after every game I clean the barrel so the tacky fell comes back. I inspect it every time and to this date have no webbing showing.

BOY!!, with 1300 plus swings from major and major plus guys that bat should last this ole guy some 2600 swings. Guess I can always pass it along to my grandkids and make it a family air loom.

Didn't think grayhitter's comments where out of order. He was just passing along a personal experience with a product we all use. He wasn't trying to sell them.

Thanks Crusher, now that you mention it I remember that now. And I'm sure anybody's swing is slower with the heavier bat, no matter how big a brut you are.

I have found this to be true also. Are the heavier bats thicker walled which adds to their longevity?

My end cap did brake a portion off the outer part. Will they disqualify my bat at Dalton for this? Yes, 3M 5200 glue is great.

You know; now that I think about it I DO play defense the same as I did in my 20's and 30's. BAD! But with these new bats I get to enjoy being able to hit one ever now and then.

I also would enjoy playing this style of ball again. I still have my bats, so I'm ready to go when you guys pull it together. Do they still produce the ole blue dot balls?

Discussion: Excellent Customer Service!! - Team 1 Sports

I echo your remarks guys. Not only is he a straight up business guy, he and his NEW wife are just good people. I love doing business with honest, Christian people. Between his business, training for triathlons and probable still honeymooning I bet his tank is running a little low right now.

Yep!, Alan put me on the 3M marine glue and it really works. Don't know what it being marine glue has to do with it, but has worked so far on three of our team bats. Anybody experiencing this problem you should try it. Make sure both surfaces are clean though.

Your right! They have the Senior gear and the Twilight Senior for $99. I guess because sale on these two are down and I don't think the Twilight ever took off.

Hi Mike, as I read the above comments it looks as though things went well with your hip. I'm glad it is behind you and now can start on your recovery. Has it been long enough for the doctor to give you a time line as to when you can start doing what you love doing(whacking a softball)?
