| Aug. 1, 2008 Italian Stallion | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Looking to land on a team. I'm a 58 yr old looking to find a team to be their "go to" pitcher. On 2 senior teams now with a 16-0 record this season with ERA under 10. Won Championship last night with Jimmy Dukes in Huntington Beach, CA. Also, just finished the spring season on a Men's team (open age) in City of Orange and led the league in ERA. Played on AA & AAA senior tournament teams in past years as a "rent a player" filling in for players on DL. Credentials good enough for Major level also. California I am 57 years old and a proficient pitcher looking to join a team, one that can go all the way in a tournament. Have played at the AA and AAA level. I live in Anaheim and have been playing in local softball leagues for over 20 years. I manage and pitched for the team that won our division in the city of Orange this past summer. I am retiring this may from work so will have time to devote to traveling and playing in tournaments. I can bat over 500 to keep the hits going. I am a pitcher who knows how to counter opposing bats with my knucklecurve. I have played competitively in local league for over 15 years with players half my age. Have tournament experience at the AA level. Name of the game is not just scoring runs, but knowing how to stifle the guy at the plate! Will travel and not afraid of a tryout to show my stuff. |
