Here is the solution to your problem. The need for a new ball for each game is in your head not
in the ball. Let's assume that you bat 15 batters and the all bat 1,000, 3 for 3, for the seven inning game, that's 45 hits on the ball. If both teams hit the same ball that's only 90 hits on the ball. I think the good balls that SSUSA uses can take that many hit's without getting soft.

So the solution to your problem is to use the
same ball for your first three games, the warm up games.

The study is right--you build bat speed befor
the season starts. I start BP in Jan Feb with
some old 34oz wood bat and try and build up
muscle and speed. I got one of those end of the
bat swing speed computers last year so I check
my speed at each BP--it's a good item and it work for me.

I have been there two years and I will not be coming back any time soon for the following reason.
I'm going to play in 15 tournaments this year and
each tournament has a 5 game guarantee and we do that in two days some times three. To play one
game a day and make us stay out there for a full
week is much much to long. I understand that it
is a very nice place to take a vacation but I
come to play ball.

Discussion: Weighted Batting Gloves

During the winter months I ware these gloves and
swing a bat 3 oz heaver than my normal bat. I think it helps a great deal. I feel like the weight helps keep my batting muscles in shape and I do not lose as must bat speed from year to year.

Murray
got In 102 swings today and had 95 out 102 that
had negative Horz. angle and about 75 were
-50 degrees do you have any feel for what that angle should be---bat speed is up 2 MPH

As for cost--it cost less than some of the old
bats you have in your trunk
I always want to know my bat speed and I did not have a gun or anyone to hold it--now I
know
They always tell you that your hands should be
leading the way in front of the barrel of the
bat I thought I did but was not sure --out of
116 swings I had 79 yes and 37 No and I found
out most of the No's were after I had 75 swings.
I try to swing 125 time when I have BP so I'm
going to cut back
The company has to improve training info
PS-it's my under standing, not sure, but you
can also use it on you golf clubs

Murray
When I use the Bat Plane or the Bat Path a red triangle
is part of the picture on mine. I first though it was
showing time in zone but other times it looks like where
I hit the ball
The first thing I found out is just before I swing I do
a little circle with my bat when it is still behind my
head. Do not know if this is good or bad. One of the
things I wanted to check to see if my bat speed is higher when I do that or is it slower. When I first
read about this thing over Christmas I though that the
company would have some helpful training videos to go
along with it---so far the help from the company has bees zero, Oh well.
Yes it is very hard to turn on to the point I think
I will break the yellow skin at some point---so the ??? is will the company give you a new one or just tell you that mistreated it.

Murray I have 308 swings on mine. Where did you see any thing that would let you mark your best swing. I know you can compare your swing with BruceinGa but that all.
I normally swing a 30Oz and had bat speed
of 50MPH for the first 100 swings, I'm 74, do not
know if that's good or slow. The next 100 swings
I use a 32Oz and dropped to 47. My goal is to
get the 32Oz up to 50 before I go back to the 30Oz game bat.
I have send the company a long list of ??? but no
help.
1. What is the red triangle telling me
2. If I'm in the zone for .03--how long should
I be in the zone at 50MPH
3. If my vertical angle is 20 degrees what
should it be?
4. If Horz. angle is 47degrees what should it be?
I'm happy with it and I will some how make it help me with my swing--I though I would get more help from the company.
