Can you give me directions to the park(s) in Pensacola.
Coming from I-10 East.
Do you have the schedule for the 50's AAA?
Where are they playing?
What are the names of the parks?

Would you like to play this weekend in Augusta, Georgia?
We're a 55+ team with TN/AL players.
Send me your email address and I'll fill you in.

I guess some of you guys like 55-49 games, but the purists think there is more to the game than bombs. You wonder why there are so few teams playing Major +.
Do you remember the old baseball arcade games where you hit a home run and the players advanced around the bases by being pushed by the player behind them.
That's what I think about when I see Major + teams play with hot balls and bats. I know you guys love your brand of softball and that's fine, but to me it just seems so one dimensional. I like using my legs and my glove.

Looks like the Phoenix tournament is gonna be a big one. I'd like to play if needed.
Dependable middle infielder, base hitter and I run for myself.
Need to know now, so I can make arrangements. I've played AA and AAA. I played AAA in Plano.
54 years old.

In 50AAA - When I left yesterday, Southern Softball had just been eliminated by Chicago Gray and were to play North Texas Express, with the winner to play Metro Stars (unbeaten).
Always a good tournament. Wish they could have kept all the games at Heritage Yards in Plano instead of driving to McKinney on Saturday.

Are they still planning to start on Friday, July 29? If so, they need to spread out the times because it could be very hot. Play some games after dark, or at least late afternoon or early morning. It'd be nice to play 2 games Friday, one Saturday AM in round robin, then start Dbl Elim late Saturday and finish on Sunday. How many teams are confirmed so far in 50+?

I can't believe they have All Tournament, All "World" (c'mon)
selections in Senior Softball. We're 50+ years old. Do we still need our egos massaged? I, like many on this board, have earned my share of All-T awards. Like LA says, they usually cause more friction than friendships and places the emphasis on '1' instead of the team. Trophys are nice for sponsors, but I play the game for the exercise, enjoyment and fellowship it provides. Keep the individual trophies and lower the entry fees.

I'll be happy to pass this info along to Rick. When do we play after that and who are the teams in the 50s division?

Sorry about that. I did not talk to Rick before my post. He told me that you had talked and things were go. Looking forward to playing in Dayton this weekend.

Our coach has tried and tried to get Danny Tipton to answer the phone at this number or respond to the email address. To no avail.
Have him contact Rick Titsworth of Nashville (TN) Coach 50's @ (615)405-7480. Thank you.

Will games for 50's be played Saturday and Sunday or will it start on Friday? With all the age divisions listed, will they play all games at Kettering? Will this be played under SSUSA/SSWC rules?
