I used to a 15" Nakona glove for 3 years when I first started playing sr ball. Never was callen on it. Traded it for a bat...big mistake.
Have never heard of anyone being called on over size either. Same for examination of bats. Might happen but time constranis sure put a damper on that for everyone.

All I can say is that if it's that good, why no mention of a warranty? After all, Miken had one earlier with one.

Wood,
That's good advice on the socks. I used to do that in rainy times of the year. But you really neer know about grass fields in the AM and after the rains re puddles.
Stay healthy Bob.

Inreading up on many of these products I notices some (not all) have a negative side to their use... deteriation of leather and laces for some of them. So you need to read the labels err do research before using.
If you use a real old school shoe maker, ask what he'd recommend.

The Wilson 9130's were excellent balls also. Kinda like the Super blue dots and red dots.

Any one remember the Legend 2 Centerfire balls? IMO they held up and flew, as well as the ones with the Reptile covers were water repellent.
So many breands and all were used back when it was a better time.

If the shoes have holes in them (as for breathing) you won't pervent getting soaked. If a good quality shoe or even if not, you might try ScotchGuard on an old pair to see if it works for you.

I might be wrong, but this is sounding (reading) like it's been on here before. But it may have been about a dinged up bat, rather than a defective bat, though it was someone doing simulial for another 'owner' of the bat on here. Maybe a year ago or so.
So I stand by my fish story, sorry.
Sorry too, that the bat went bad, but it happens as mentioned on here.
Getting that from the CC coompany could take forever, err 30 days, but time lost in theis 3rd party affair deal didn't help either of you out.
As a senior I learned some things the hard way over time, but this one (receipts) I learned with my 1st CC back in 1966.
Good luck to both of you.

Lewis, The easiest way for you given that you were not able to get a 'receipt' from Softball.com but you no doubt used pay-pal if you used ebay. Pay-pal has receipts you can get to through your acct info but it's time constrained, don't knw how long. CC's also give you recourse for defective products.

What i think....You should have been able to figure any of these out and taken which ever road & taken it to Worth on the defect issue. If it was relatively recent, say 90 days of so you should still have some time.
Who known maybe you still can.

Something awfully fishy in all this. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to get the info needed for resolution, such as a receipt. Over the years I've dealt with softball.com on eBay, their web site and on the phone never had a problem gettin g a receipt or item resolution.

Paul, you need to look at what it out there there are many that onlt offer egg and have an vg-excellent showings**. At least here in CA. I can't name assn here but it's national.

**mostly the younger guys but fees are half.
I'll fill you in if ou mean me. addy is in my link here.
These here are some of the best events out there but as mentioned costly. Onle a elect group get full brackets. and brackets that are less than 5 in reality are imo worthless when compaired to time, cost & what yiu may have done instead. Which usulaay depends on where you are located.
Best ones I know of are Reno, Vegas and PHX. (no specific order)

Able to get around, but that's about it. Was the reason I turned down the offer to play lasst year. Did not want to be unable to play 100%. Stefco is a great team & do well in St; G. Not sure about my future ball playing but I'll give it time and HOPE
for something other than coaching which I did for the Can-Sirs team in Elk Grove. As a 60's team now you should do well.

I'll go with the term used "INFIELD" as being a position i.e. positions 1-6 & or 7 in some cases. Most all infielders move to the grass to catch balls.
