Reg,
We were so lucky to win 6 out of 7 coin tosses. Four of our games were decided by one run, not including the loss. I remember playing and losing to you guys a few times, although we all wanted to play you, it just didn't work out. We all want to play different competitive teams within our division. I think we have finally accomplished that, especially here in the West. You guys have a great mix and all I see is good things for you in the future. Thanks for the nice things you've said, my guys appreciate it and stay healthy or at least on this side of the dirt.
John.

Dace Dowell & SSUSA staff... GREAT JOB.
Canyon Complex in St George was excellent as Dave said and the drive from Mesquite wasn't that bad either.
Spectactular country. In (7) games we had ONE late start. I don't know how you pull it off, but you are way underpaid. Congradulations to all the
teams that showed in the Major 50 division. It is great to see such an
evenly spread out division. Any team out of the 10 could have won it.
Lots of fun. Fan Grabber Softball Club.

Great news. As far as George is concerned... who said he was a good friend of mine? George? Just kidding, he's said he's just going to lean on the fence and watch. Right. Stay healthy and keep the Stone unturned.
Just heard that Demolition is not going to Mesquite... it's too bad, was looking forward to the compitition.
Later.

Joe & Ron / Las Vegas-Utah Legends,
Great to see you and your team having fun again. Seventeen innings of you guys and still wasn't enough. Lots of talent, plenty of potential and can't wait to see you guys once you've dialed it in. Sorry you didn't get to hit off of Mike B but I was preveiwing a new pitcher. Hope to see you soon and in good health. Maybe Mesquite, for sure Las Vegas. Lots of LAF s.

Cudos to the SSUSA Rules TEAM. You are on the right track ! Speaking for the players and sponsors I represent, thank you for giving us a little more of our game back. Your repeal of the "Middle Rule" just gave some dignity back to those pitchers that like to participate defensively.
And, Happy Holidays to Terry, Fran, Dave and all of the SSUSA Staff.

Joe,
Not just me, Burbank too.
Had a great time.
As far as the PA... it's too early and I try not to use this message board to promo it, as you can tell. I thank you for the support, but still need a feasability study with web site $ and other legalities like non profit corp and such. Should know by January.
Talk wit ya soon.

Discussion: What do you think.

Joe,
Thanks for the promo, you're killin me.
On your discussion, I would like to add my Radical thoughts.
I am so against altered bats that I get really worked up about it. I think everyone should be held responsible for his/her actions... whereever. I hit a pitcher in league play from my batted ball into his eye orbit. It first hit his glove extended out above his head, then glanced to his face. Needless to say, he had major surgery the next day. Two weeks later, he called the sports office to find out what bat I had used.
I think that he was OK in asking, but two weeks late. I think if any question of my using an altered bat was raised it should be at the time of the incident. I would love to see umpires remove any doubt by comfiscating both the BAT and the BALL at the time of the injury. This would place the burden of the injury and the costs accrued on that individual that chooses to alter the equipment, including the ball manufacturer that chooses to juice up the balls. Also, I have in my posession a formula that was acquired on the internet, anyone can get it. I had it in my mind that I was going to catch one of these bats being used. It is almsost impossible to do without destroying the bat. In fact, the lable manufacturer for some of the MAJOR bat companies run thousands more lables than will be sold to the bat companies, just for internet sales to altered bat producers and/or anyone else that want to change the name on their bat.
In summation, You and I love the game, along with most of the people on this board. With healthy thoughts and discussions, the cheaters know we're on to them. Let it be known and just maybe we will steer someone into doing the right thing.
Have a great holiday, ya all.

Joe,
Well my friend, looks like we have some responses to our question. I sure wish you didn't have that dirty shadow clouding up this positive idea. And Eddie, thanks for watching my backside. As far as I can see, the issue remains to get the players to commit, the rest will fall in place. Maybe, as I suggested, get the managers to help?
I would like to hear there responses... like Lecak?
Thanks for sticking your neck out.

Thanks for being there. You're a true class act and a team player. It's always better winning, but like you say, love of the game. Great squad with you, Mike, Cruz, Rock and the rest.
Had fun & wished I'd been at the Commedy Club with you guys... heard it was something.
