I had my right knee done 2 1/2 yrs. ago. depending on the surgeon, and how good his work is Yes about 1 - 2 weeks on crutches and about 3 - 6 months wearing a brace and rehab. I finally was able to start running about the 7th month and after one yr I haven't wore a brace since. hope this helps. you are a little Larger than I am, good luck with it. Big Dog
