was it Patterns? I seem to remember Rod Sterling in something called Patterns but can't remember if it was a movie or a television show.

Lecak:
You must be a pretty perceptive and bright guy to have realized all of these important points so quickly in your career. You obviously have excellent tutors. I might add one.... If a veteran senior (what exactly is a VETERAN SENIOR?) happens to hit a weak pop fly to the infield or a routine grounder goes through his legs, it is merely the veteran senior offering an OPPORTUNITY to the rookie senior to be in a position to "have the veterans back" and to show his (the rookie's) skills. Remember to thank the Veteran Senior for allowing this opportunity and praise him for his ability to open up this door to you.

Good luck,

Ok... here's one for the ages. Back in the late 1950's there was a show about a company with a helicopter that was used for hire to help with "dire" situations. Name the show...

Anyone know the details of this and other association rules pertaining to a starting player being removed and replaced during a game and then wanting to re-enter the game in later innings? Must that player re-enter for the same player he replaced in the same order he batted ?

Thanks... docswear

Gentlemen.. just back from Hawaii visiting my newest grandson and on the way out the door heading for Phoenix but.. couldn't resist jumping on this post to see what was new. Some awesome questions since I last visited.. some real stumpers... the key clue to this question is the clue "Unforgetable". I believe that Nat King Cole might be who you are looking for???? My mom collected his records and followed his life story so I had a bit of help here.

Woody... I figure you stayed up all night doing a rain dance and praying for cloudy skys. You have just delayed the donut day a bit. Thanks for having my back and getting my questioning power reinstated. Can't trust anyone with the name Mike (<.......

Here's one that any old superman fan should get. What was the name of the editor of the newspaper where Clark Kent worked and what phrase did he always use when he was angry???

good luck, docswear

PeteD.... I like your way of thinking on this.. The guy from Mission Impossible does make sense. I could have sworn that I read somewhere that they used Jack Webb's arms and that was his production company but, thinking about the size of the arms, that does not really make sense. Maybe an urban legend? Wood had best know... Not sure where to research this.. This is a good stumper. By the way.. just kidding about the Napkin thing. I just like to pull Woody's chain... (<.

Wood... in spite of getting PeteD involved in your harassment of myself, you do occasionally ask good trivia questions. Unfortunately, I believe the company was actually Mark VII... The hands, I think, were none other than good old Jack Webb? If I am wrong, I might spring for donuts in the morning... If I am right.... I like lemon-filled the best. (<.

Wow... You guys are tough.. I think Wood might be right (that's a rare event) and we should either let Stoneman decide who gets the next question or one of the guys that got one of his questions correct should.. My napkins don't absorb ink. Real funny Pete..

Sorry PeteD..... I grew up with my dad watching that show and every night before I went to bed he put on his best Red Skelton face and said "good night and may God bless"

Going to Leave it to Beaver... One of my favorite characters on the show was Eddie Haskel ... Many folks I know claim TheWood has tried to emulate the guy...not sure.. anyway... who played Eddie and after he left the show what new career did he embark on?
