Apples & Oranges Southernson! I stated, "You simply cannot ask for better Weather than the West Coast Based on the Dates of the Tournament Schedule." World & TOC Tournaments are Played October & February, respectively . . .

Arizona Elite is Based in Arizona, and even we prefer not to play in Phoenix during the SCORCHING SUMMERS. Therefore, “you simply cannot ask for better Weather than the West Coast Based on World & TOC Dates." Maybe Florida is Lovely in Florida!? I personally haven't been to Florida in the Winter, but the consensus doesn't appear to be Positive about the TOC being held in Florida ! ! !

Fair & Equitable makes sense when considering Regional Tournament Sites. However, minimizing Inclement Weather should be a Key Factor based on Major Tournament Dates. IMHO, I believe the Majority of "Seniors" prefer Playing in Warmer Climates . . .

Either way, if you have to WIN a spot to Play in the Prestigious TOC, then there should be Funding to help offset costs. Frankly, the TOC should be run in similar fashion as the USSSA World Series and/or ASA Nationals (again, IMHO) . . .

Just received my Info Packet for the TOC / Fantasy Camp. I had to Chuckle because my first inclination was I don't have that kind of coin, and if I did, why would I spend it on a Fantasy when we Qualified in Reality ? ? ?

The TOC has the Appearance of being a more Prestigious Tournament, and seems to have more Emphasis (or Marketing) than the World Championships!? If you have to WIN a spot to Play in the TOC, then shouldn't there be Funding to get you there, much like the USSSA World Series & ASA Nationals ? ? ?

Strictly from a Weather perspective, I've never enjoyed Playing Ball in Florida, especially in September (ala USSSA) during the Hurricane Season, and the Heat & Humidity. It's just Gross! I've never been to Florida in the Winter, but I haven't heard or read anything Positive to Entice me to want to go. You simply cannot ask for better Weather than the West Coast Based on the Dates of the Tournament Schedule (IMHO), Period ! ! !

Combat Centenarian, and you will be Happy! Careful though, it is Winter and most any Bat will have Durability Issues below 65Deg, and that's not just Senior Bats . . .

Discussion: Grading the Rule Changes

I've been Pitching for many years, here's my input:

1) Prefer 1-1 Count, None to Waste! Not Opposed to 1 to waste!
2) Prefer 6-12 Arc, but "Do Not Argue" the 12' Arc!
2a) Prefer to Hit 10' Arc or less as a Hitter just like everyone else, but remember I DO PITCH!
3) Prefer to RID SENIOR SOFTBALL OF SENIOR BATS ! ! !
3A) Senior Bats are not going away, so use Trump Stote only!
4) Prefer No Safety Net(s) on the Field ! ! !

* True Facts/Statistics show, 1-1 Count does Speed up the Game (Not Just IMHO) ! ! !

When you read posts in chronological order and content, one may be looking for certain information from certain posters. When YOU, Kennard, post in Generalizations without Comprehending “Specific Topics of Discussion” it makes you look like you are a “Know it all.” In this scenario, a Doctor or Pharmacist. I Respect my Elders, when they lend Credibility to Relative Facts of said Discussions, so I won’t even bother guessing your level of Reading Comprehension. Now then, take your CAPS LOCK OFF, take a Deep Cleansing Breath and Enjoy the rest of your weekend ! ! !

Dave (Super V 10),

Thank you for Comprehending my Perspective/Questions! Some folks are quick to "Tell other Folks" what to do and/or what not to do! We all age differently, experience different Health Issues, and have had someone Near & Dear affected as well. I mean No Disrespect, as I lost my Father under a Doctor's Care. He was being treated for, of all things, Psoriasis. The Prescribed Treatment was Steroids, and the Result was Death. So Kennard, you're Preaching to the Choir as I have first hand knowledge . . .

So I ask again, if I were to subscribe to Testosterone Treatment as in Mario's scenario, would you still have "No Respect" for me? I'm playing Devil's Advocate because in Mario & Surf88's scenario, they are/were being Prescribed Testosterone Therapy, but not in the context as a PED, not using for an Edge in Senior Softball. Just Wondering, Where is the Line in the Sand ? ? ?

Mario, No Night Sweats for me, but 10-4 on the other stuff!

Kennard, I've never been into Weight Lifting, and I am not an Advocate on PED's in the Raw Sense! However, if I were to subscribe to Testosterone Treatment as in Mario's scenario, would you still have "No Respect" for this person?

I'm playing Devil's Advocate because in Mario & Surf88's scenario, they are/were being Prescribed Testosterone Therapy, but not in the context as a PED for an Edge in Senior Softball or just for the sake of Walking around Sleeveless. LOL, just Poking Fun at a couple of my Teammates & OKI Playa's ! ! !

Just Wondering, Where is the Line in the Sand ? ? ?

Roger that, Very Few like to Hit Unlimited Arc! The Problem is we need Umpires & TD's to Enforce The 12' Ceiling. Whining about Height is equal to Arguing Balls & Strikes in my book! As I mentioned previously, I Umpire too, and there are a lot of Umpires that are Intimidated by Players that think 12' is too high. They want 10' or less, and as a Hitter, I do too, but again, I know what 12' is.

I Pitch, I Hit, I Upmpire, so I think I got it . . . IMHO (LOL) ! ! !

Discussion: Thoughts for the upcoming SSUSA Rules Committee meeting!

Tim,

1) Salary Cap has nothing to do with where else the Yankees are to "Play Up" as a Dynasty Team. BTW, we have a Salary Cap as well . . .

2) Resmondo Type Teams are not Killing USSSA, Participation/Economy is. I would like to see those Teams Broken up as well, but that isn't going to happen in USSSA either . . .

3) We aren't "Escared" to Play M+ Teams, but we haven't Won our Respective World in Major (yet)! Teams want to Earn that Right first, Playing into the M+ Level full time. Again, we are a Low Budget, all Arizona Team, Not Merging with Nazareno to Build a Super Team ! ! !

4) Just like your MTC Team, we are built Locally, and because of our Salary Cap, We can't afford to Travel the country in search of M+ Tournaments. We also enjoy being able to Play in our own back yard just like your MTC Team does. Unfortunately, we don't have the Population, Players, and/or multiple sanctions to support our Hobby like the State of California does. Therefore, we have to Travel a bit more than your MTC Dynasty Team does . . .

Tim, MTC placed 3rd in Major - Correct? If I recall correctly, don't the Top 3 Finishing Teams Move Up in USSSA? I don't recall the Specifics, but I'm sure someone does (Tim)! C'mon Tim, Dazzle (or Baffle) us with more BS on how it Effects all other Teams, just not your MTC Team ! ! !

So tell us all Tim, who is "Escared" to Move-up and Play Major Plus? Should SSUSA Adopt the same Move Up Rule as USSSA? What would your MTC Team do? Break up so you can stay in Major and/or Play Down? Remember, California is a Big State! You have the Population, so I'm sure you have Plenty of Player/Friends - Correct ? ? ?

To the best of my knowledge there is "No Warranty" on Senior Bats. However, Alan's Customer Service is Impeccable . . .

Alan just got back from Cozumel competing in the Ironman Triathlon. He's prolly playing catchup or maybe just Resting ! ? ! ?

Discussion: Which choice would Plus Champions take if Bumped like every other Division?

I just want to AXE a few Questions:

1) When & Where are Dem Damn Yankees gonna Move UP ? ? ?

2) When & Where are Dem Damn ResMando Sod Boys gonna Move UP ? ? ?

3) When & Where was Cassius Clay supposed Move UP ? ? ?

4) When you were a Kid and Played King of Da Hill, When & Where were you supposed to Move UP ? ? ?

5) If you're on Top of Da World or Pyramid, When & Where are you supposed to Move UP ? ? ?

Arizona Elite has Played 2 Seasons now, and has Not Won a True World Championship . . . Yet! However, we are Not "Escared" to Play the Best of the Best, cuz in the end it will make us Better! Who knows, we just might Win a Championship or 2, but that won't make us a Dynasty (IMHO) ! ! !
