Discussion: Reebok Barrage and Senior bats in general...

This thread leads me to believe that buying a Reebok Barrage Senior bat, no matter which batch, is buying into problems and a BIG MISTAKE!

Discussion: DeMarini Swing Chute Trainer

I noticed the picture on the esports web shows the DeMo Chute in the original colors of Yellow and White. If I remember correctly the Yellow/White chutes were first chutes sold by the DeMarini company. I think that Chute was sold with a instructional video on a (You youngsters may not remember this) VHS video tape. The whole package sold for about $75. I got mine as a gift so I'm not real sure of the price.

The Blue and White chute replaced the Yellow/White chute a few years later.

Why not buy a Thumb Protector like the ones MLB players use?

You can buy them at most any sporting goods store for less than $10

Just slide it on your thumb and not have any problems with umpires or rules.

Does the Reebok Barrage come in "Balanced" and "End Loaded" versions like the "Red" and "Yellow" Reebok Melee Legends?

Discussion: Solar Bat Warmes

All bat manufactures will tell you that all composite bats are NOT supposed to be used when the temperature is under 60 degrees.....BAT WARMER OR NOT!

Don't know of any bat manufacturer that makes bat warmers.

Does anybody know just what is the ideal operating temperature range (low being 60 degrees and a high of ? degrees)of a bat? Is it 60-130 degrees? Is there such a thing as getting the bat too hot, temperature wise?

The purpose of the Tough Shield is extend the life of a bat that is not broken.

For bats that are already broken the shield will give you results similar to what you have described above.

Not sure just what his position is with GSC.

From what information I have been told is that he is simply a GSC cheerleader.

Ray DeMarini, in his second video, I think was titled "Ultimate Bat Speed" used a Bat Speed Meter.

And if I recall correctly he was getting a bat speed of about 75 mph on the meter. It was the same video in which both Ray and Larry Carter were hitting home runs.

I still have the video, but don't have a VHS player that works.

Discussion: WORST OUTFIELDER-In Your Opinion

At the risk of getting stepped on, I think most people don't enjoy the best of discussions, and would rather enjoy the worst of discussions. Here is one for worst outfielder. Still a couple months before most of our northern guys get going on our season.
