Birdie,

Awesome, that Ronnie (and Beaver too) could really hit the long ball. In a coincidence, my Dad's secretary back then was Ronnie's ex-wife ...lol.

I remember Tom Miller but the only nickname I ever heard him have was "BIG" ... Do you remember the team named Cabana Bar? What a team of All Stars!

Growing up in Butler, PA., my Dad would take me to The Pike to see the Alexander's team play. Wow, what and entertaining time that was. I have watched major league baseball for a long time and know John Sepich could have played many years in MLB. He is by far the best player (not just shortstop) I have ever seen in many years of watching softball. Quite frankly I am not sure I've ever seen a better shortstop anywhere! Great memories!

I remember all the teams and players back then: Beaver Wissinger, Ronnie Wissinger, Chud Cunningham, Bill Sepich, Rich Weleski, Jeff Birchbigler, Steve Chuba, etc. etc.

That was a great time in my life!
