Discussion: SSUSA where are you?

Leftie..over the last 3yrs I've emailed Fran, a number of times, she has emailed me back..EVERY TIME. Always tried to be 'POSITIVE", in my questions and every time she has given me a pretty fair answer. Was it always what I wanted?..NO..but she took the time to help me understand the reason, whether it came from Terry H. or someone else. Try that approach, I'm pretty confident u will get a repsonse.

One last thing..I really grow weary from the constant complaining about, balls, bats, rules and regs'..gosh, we get to use the BEST BAT.U2, most of the time the BEST BALLS (Sharks or whatever). HRs..well, most of the M+guys can JACK IT OUT, any time...give'm.. 5 and play 1 up..Majors..3 and 1up...as long as u can catch up and 1 up..why does all this matter??? Do something for AAA too.. This HItting the Pitcher...man, we got 53 feet plus 6 feet back...to throw from...Why is it any different playing 1st base or 3rd??? I've been there, both places...U just REACT..we going to put a screen up for those spots too? I think not....
I feel ..REALLY BLESSED to be able to still be playing ball at 56, competitively STILL....I"M GRATEFUL..

Thanks for the forum...
Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to ALL U GUYS and GALS

TYPOs..sorry...what I...MEANT TO SAY....in a couple lines is...if my MEMORY serves me right...2006 or 2007 the Worlds were in Seattle and it was pretty much a WEST COAST WORLDS...AND...that the plane ride or car ride to Plam Springs, CA would be a very short distance for the West Coast teams.

Thanks

What MOST of the MIDWEST to EAST COAST would want would be to make the Worlds ...MORE CENTRAL so all of us could get there...NOT 2500 miles to Palm Springs, CA..nice place...yep! Cost for the Midwest to East coast guys, a lot of extra money. The Phoenix, AZ trip is a GRAND or a little less....so, less and less teams will come if Terry and Company move the Worlds any farther...remember Seattle in 2006 or 1007....pretty much a West Coast tourney if my member serves me correct..

Let's put the Worlds in Kansas City or St.Louis or somewhere in the 1st week of October.
The plane ride for the west coast folks or the drive is not very far.

So, I'm not for moving the Worlds any farther than they already are. Just my 4cents worth..

Discussion: pruitt chevrolet player

I trulty wish this player a speedy recovery...our Dayton Legends player, Bobby Koeller was the player who came to his rescue and assisted in helping save his life. Bobby told me last night at our Seniors game...he really felt like he was there in the right moment and right time. He was supposed to help this guy in his time of need...till the Ambulance crew arrived....Glad all will work out for this player.

Just a thot...maybe...since SSWC is a large organization they could MAYBE...hook up with a defibulater vendor and our Senior teams could purchase a unit at a reduced price..they are expensive...just a THOT for SSWC and Company to look into..or maybe someone on this site has a connection to a company that would be interested in selling to Senior Softball.....God Bless Us ..ALL..!!!

Discussion: RAINOUT IN ISA NATIONALS IN BRIDGETON MO

We were in the 55 AA group that got put down on the LOWER diamonds and they were TERRIBLE, #4 especially, we had to play ALL OUR GAMES on this field, outfield had craters, LF area had to be filled with dirt. fences were 3ft.mesh, infield was terrible for Friday games...Sat morning they did drag it...grass in the outfield was OVER UR SHOES, NOT CUT for Friday or Sat....I saw Diamond #3 and #5....terrible...only got to see the NICE COMPLEX cuz that is where we had to register...

If ...we pay $400+ to play out there...we ALL SHOULD get to play on the NICE COMPLEX....EVERYONE should play on the 1-5 diamonds...a game or so...give all of us a chance to play at the NEW COMPLEX...

All the ISA umpires for our games did a REAL NICE JOB of calling the games, getting out from behind to make any close calls...THANX...!! Trump balls were fine and fly'n good..!!!
I have NO IDEA how they decided winners, 2nd place..somebody that has the INFO...put the winners, etc,,,

Nice to meet some more new guys on the circuit...Good to see ya...Dale S...from Monster Softball...

Discussion: Playing a lower division team in Champaign

HEY Chuck...JC from DLSC......I hear ya on this....we had tha that Chicago 55AA AND the 50sAA in Indy....tourney ALLOWED the 50sAA to play their 55sAA for the SHIRTS.....only had 1 50AA team I think over there.....we got beat in the SEMIs by the 55AA...on Sunday...BOTH TEAMS are pretty good, 55s were a AAA team by far and especially the 50s...beat us by.....20, maybe on Sat.night...Terry H and Company sure need to stay up on these teams that are entering...wouldn't take much to make a call to these TDs and ask who/'s playing..etc, etc..check some scores from tourneys before, etc, etc.....WE made it to the FINALS in Champaign but OSHKOSH hit, hit..hit...22-8..we stopped hitting...best to u guys..we're headed to St.Louis Aug 1-3

Good hunting...Chuck..

Discussion: What is the rule on age for the world championships October 08?

To SSUSA Staff...this is just a SUGGESTION..I agree with Bones here...I think it would be REALLY NICE to see Terry H. and Company...to put MORE INPUT IN..on some of the questions or concerns that guys or gals have on this site.
I'm not talking about every topic..NOPE..just that some comments ,could sure use some DIRECT COMMENT from the FOLKS in Sacramento, Calif...and help people out with their concerns or questions...either by direct email to them..(and maybe u do) or by putting something out on this FORMAT for all to see and understand..

I'm sure, we ALL..thank u for the format we have...lots of great input here for all of us.

We're 2:15 and 7:15pm for Sat...other times when we get there...
