Have everyone noticed that this extensive discussion about the arc, hot bats, etc., that no one ( a.k.a. SSUSA Staff ) has said a word and I agree with everyone on this serious problem/situation that needs to be addressed!

Indeed what a great year for Pitchers Omar..........If they would at least bring the arc up several feet especially with the mat, it most likely would even the playing field a little so to speak for us "chuckers"!

Well said Omar Well said! Bring back a little of the old days or as stated earlier, at least consider moving the arc higher for the "Pitching Nation".

I have to agree with txtable. All the years I've know Sparky, can't remember him managing a ballclub in New York. All over Detroit and the Mid-Michigan area but not in New York. He might have played or taken a club to a tourney out that way, but that would be it.

And I know for a fact that this WAS his first venture into Senior Softball this season as well, so any development within the Syracuse area would have to got to someone else I'm afraid.

Anyone that has known you over these many years Sparky, will always conclude that you were truly "Mr. Softball". I will never forget playing for you in the game that you claimed the National Record. What a media circus...lolololol

Although a lot of miles separate us, we still stay in touch and for that I am thankful. You take care buddy and remember fondly of your achievements and the people you touched with your dedication and heart for the game.

Topic: Teams looking for players
Discussion: Sponsor looking to finance an "established" Men's club

What a fool you are............Sponsors especially like this one that is obviously talking some MAJOR $$$$ are almost non-existent and you as a Manager, allow any of your players to dictate who comes and who goes? If this sponsor wants you to add a player of his choosing or wants you to wear pink shorts with matching shirts, you do it or just keep looking & wishing.

IN RESPONSE TO THIS: To set the record straight: Sparky did receive a possibility from our team in the requested region and we'd love to have his sponsorship. But in order to have his sponsorship we needed to agree to add a player to our team that Sparky said came with his sponsorship. After talking to some players who have played with this "comes along with the sponsorship player" I was advised not to take him on board thus the sponsorship offer was pulled by Sparky.............just saying.
