The Yuma Softball Complex was "Awesome"....Great fields. I sure hope they have more tournaments at this complex...maybe November through March though :-)

I believe the Tournament should definitely be played in 2 days vice 3 days. 2 days gives us less chance of catching the virus. Play Friday and Saturday so we can be home on Fathers day....just my humble opinion!

Mike,
We had a blast. The High Intensity team wanted me to thank you and the staff very much for running an outstanding tournament. The first game felt weird playing since it had been so long. After that, it was all normal again. It was great seeing all the fellas from other teams with big ol smiles on their face....I guess we really do love this game of softball :-)

Is the statement "The #1-#2 seed arrangement is designed SOLELY to protect the teams in an actual USA Game ... It is not an additional award component from the East/West events" posted anywhere on the tournament announcement or in the rule book???

I see plenty of times where the SSUSA quotes the "Rule Book" I just wanted something to reference. Thanks

SSUSA Staff,

Our team traveled to Sacramento (3 years in a row) to play in the Western National Championship to win the first leg of the Triple Crown and the Number 1 seed. Mission accomplished.....well sort of. We are ready to play the East Coast Champions....what they aren't coming??? Not our fault. I consider it a "forfeit" We spent, time (people getting off work), and money (not to mention health risks because of the air quality) go to the Western Nationals. I understand we win the National Championship by default..."whoopie"...we want the Number 1 Seed as advertised on your website and in the SSUSA tournament announcement emails that you send out. This will be the last time I will be going to Sacramento if this how it works! Just Plain Wrong!!!

I still cant find anything in the rule book about it. Could the SSUSA office please send me the page and section that says we lose our number 1 seed. Thanks

Fun tourny....thanks to Tom and Donnie for hosting a well run tournament. That was not easy with so many teams and only 4 fields. Most players understood that and were patient. Thanks again....see you in Vegas!
