| Sept. 4, 2013 Foster38 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: When is the last time you saw a pitcher have to leave a game from getting hit or get seriously hurt? I have pitched for 14 years in a fairly competitive league. I finally got hit, and knew it was only a meter of time. I've always said to myself I won't get hit in the head because I have my glove ready. Well, I didn't. But I did take an absolute rocket off the forearm of my glove hand, breaking my ulna. Almost certain I'm coming back with some type of head protection next season and possibly more. |
