Discussion: Nothing like Senior ball

Tony-I agree..as this was not only my first visit to Las Vegas, it was also my first opportunity to play in a World championships of any kind. Being from the Northeast (Boston), and having the opportunity to gauge our team vs teams out west that are able to play year round was a great opportunity. The best part was participating and meeting guys from other parts of the country and watching some quality senior softball. I look forward to next years World Championships.

Discussion: The Villages

thought I would try again..will be in The Villages visiting family Thursday 4/18-4/23 and was hoping to catch on with any senior batting practices or pick up games within the Villages during my stay. I am from Boston, new to Senior ball and have several new senior bats I am looking to hit with outside in "normal " temps (-:. Thanks..George

Discussion: TPS Hyper Z

Gentlemen-the TPS Hyper Z is NOT available. I was directed to a bat company (Bats Unlimited), ordered the TPS Hyper Z and then received email to call them.. they were notified that the Hyper Z bats will not be available until next year due to early breakage in the demo's...just want to give everyone who is interested the heads up

I will be visting in The Villages 4/18 thru 4/23 or 4/24 and was hoping to get some BP in and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. If there are any "Villagers" on this board that I could connect with to get some swings in I would greatly appreciate it.

Discussion: Breaking in a couple of new senior bats

This is my first go around breaking in new bats and have recently purchased a new one piece black Ultra II as well as a Reebok Melee end load. I live in the greater Boston area so the swings will be indoors. What balls are best
(.44/375)? Is there a certain ball brand that is better than the other? Also, with these bats when they are broke in..will there be a noticeable difference in the pop or will there be a visual on the bats I should look for? Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Discussion: Reebok Melee end load question

Happy Holidays!

I am new to senior ball and bats and have a bat question. I recently picked up an Black UltraII as well as slightly used Combat Centenarian and love the feel of both bats and their pop. I have been playing in a single wall league with the "kids" and have always used the Dimarini 26 oz White Steel. I am not a big fan of its end load feel and was wondering how the end load feel of the Reebok 26 oz end load Melee is compared to the White Steel?

Discussion: New to Senior Ball and looking to join a 50+ team in MA next Spring

I will be eligible to play 50+ next Spring and looking for a travel/tournament team in the MA area. I presently play with the "kids" (24-38 yr old) in several leagues/tournaments and more than hold my own. My cell is 781-789-5752, if easier
