Discussion: Wichita?

I’m traveling to Wichita for work a few days this week and was looking wondering if anyone was hitting anywhere and if I could join up?

Thanks.

We hit both the 1 piece and 2 piece demos at Woodlawn a few weeks ago and they were pretty good performers. I'm not sure how many swings were on them before we were swinging them but the ball speed and distance surprised a couple of guys. It's a good buy for $69, just be patient until it breaks in.
Hope this helps.

Happy Easter. Does anyone have information about the league that plays at Greco on Thursday?
Thanks.

Bruce, do these evaluations happen often or are these rare occasions?

Thanks for the help. I've already started getting my swings in but should have done my homework on qualifying at 49. Great info. Thanks again to you both.

Discussion: Advice for a 48 year old

Hey guys, first time posting here so be gentle.
Getting back to playing again after a brief break. Part of my 2 year plan is to play wherever and whenever I can here in Florida (I live in Lakeland) to get my skills out there with the hope that I may play my way onto a tournament squad when I turn 50. Can anyone offer any other wisdom on how to get to where I want to be? I have never really let myself go physically, have even run a marathon...but just missed the heck out of competitive softball. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
