Discussion: Reebok Barrage vs Worth Legit

I picked a 30oz Worth Legit and got to hit with it this past weekend. The bat's performance is right up there with any of the other Sr bats. It opens up (at) about 125-150? (depending on the hitter). Yesterday, my 30oz really open up after the 2nd rd of BP, I normally hit about 40-50 per rd. We used Sr. balls like the Stotes, X-Rocks and the Utrip Hot Dots(BTW, this ball flying really well off the Legit.) This bat's distance and pop (IMHO) was better along with the speed of the ball coming off this bat, than most of the Sr. bats I have swung so far this year. I have not swung the new Reebok. But for me, right now I'm sold on the Worth Legit. Hopefully, I get to hit again next weekend barring no rain? :) and see how this bat's durability holds up..?

Discussion: Reebok Melee Legend vs. Miken Ultra 2

Reebok Legend by far for pop, durability and distance is much better than todays U2.. I got a 30oz Bal and a 28 & 29OZ EL and holding up very well.. all w/at least 400+ hits on each bat. Now IF? Miken were to have the Huevos remake the 2003 OG U2's... then the conversation changes...

MD,
I bought the UA socks and they did not go all the way past my calf muscle :(

HJ,
to me they feel and work as compression and it has the titanium material to relive soreness, they also have a sleeve that is only directly made for the calf muscles;)

not sure what folks here are looking for, but found this link.. :)

I've using the Phiten model compression socks for 2 years now..no problems with them.. the key is to never place them in the dryer, as this causes them to break-down quicker...

Discussion: How can SSUSA possibly reclassify an established Major+ team

Why doesn't SSUSA just eliminate the MAJOR+ programs all together (ONLY for teams 55 & over)? It's not like SSUSA gets at minimum (5) teams in most MAJOR+ events. There are not enough MAJOR+ 55 & over teams in the country to make a decent bracket going into the World's...

Discussion: Please send you thoughts and prayers... for the RUDY FLORES FAMILY...

One of my former teammate from NCI, text me that RUDY FLORES suffered a Massive heart attack @ Mesquite, he was airlifted to a St. George hospital and sadly he PASSED AWAY.. With NCI last season he mostly played LF and RC/RF during the last SSUSA Worlds in Vegas... my heart is sadden by the news..:(

I just spoke with him this past TUES., to wish him and SOCAL 55's a good tourney in Mesquite... as a Christan, Rudy made me laugh.. he loved his life, wife, kids and Grandkids... and a passion for playing softball.. we would do OG funk dance moves to loosen up and just laugh all day during tourneys. He was 58 y/o... LOVE you kid.. Rest in peace...

Guys... Kennard and others are correct.. PED's / HgH is NOT good for your body try at all possible to get your workouts in with comfort foods, dark and rich colored veggies/fruits, lean meats and fish, no fried foods, doughnuts and other refined junk foods, try to avoid the sodas pops, even Gatorade and anything that contains High Fructose Corn Syrup. If you're going to eat a burger at least make it a fur-burger and a side order of thighs.. LOL! ;) But seriously, may I suggest the multivitamins and herbs, I use for my workouts and daily life.

Discussion: monsta bats

I got swing one last week.. It's a GTG bat nothing like the crappy GBA bats. It has a floating inner barrel that you actually feel when hitting the ball and a very distinctive sound to it, we put a vertical paint crack on it, about 3" from the endcap & it still holding up very well with over 250+ hits.. It hits the mush ball very well, I hit an SB12 ball 300+ ;) He's got new model coming out The FOSSIL and the price is really good.
