No reason to apologize, I get it :). When I brought up the one game I was talking about playing SSUSA as its my understanding those are the tournaments they judge us on. Hopefully everything works out for you guys, you have a good group of guys you play with.....

FOFO just to clarify, I think its a bit of a stretch to say we handled Core and D&K this year seeing as we have only played both of you one time. Both games were played in Vegas and scores were Rawlings 21 The Core 19, and Rawlings 10 and D&K 4. Your right, it doesn't matter now but Rawlings never had Sacramento on their schedule as we had 4 or 5 players not able to make that weekend. Something worth mentioning, since Vegas we have lost 2 of our 3 chips one to another team and one to injury.

They are not playing Sacramento, to many guys couldn't make that date. I think a question to ask is, how did these two teams get bumped and you had a team last season win (5) tournaments in one division and (2) in another division and NOT get bumped until the following season?

Discussion: Question for Staff

Staff, we have a player who is injured and can't play right now and wanted to see if there is another way to get him qualified for worlds without making him drive out to Perris this weekend to just sign the roster?

Staff, your answer is exactly how it was explained to the director but we were still charged with the out. I don't believe it is what cost us the game but it might be a good idea to make the rule more clear.

I have a hard time with this one, last year at worlds we were knocked out of the tournament by a team that had a guy in the last inning slide at first.

What happen: The umpire called him out which would have made it 2 out with a runner at 2nd base, the other team blew up and said he tripped :). The director came over and had a discussion with the umpire and proceeded to change the call-saying he did feel after thinking about it that he may have tripped. next guy hit a line drive to SS for an out which should have been game over, instead its 2 outs runner on 2nd next guy hits a walk off to send us home. After having spoken with the head of the rules committee guy, he tells me-and I quote "You guys are more right then they are". I guess it's shame on our coach not to fight a little harder for our case...but lessons learned.

Rick, Elite was the main vendor out there and makes a very good quality uniform or jersey. Elite sports.com or 714-639-9940.

Staff if that's true, how did a player from Rawlings get re-rated this year after winning SPA. Just a question....

It was not just one thing unfortunately that took place, that would have been an easy fix. We had an issue with committed players not being able to make numerous tournaments, had a couple players leave, and trying to juggle our tournament schedule this year to maximize our player turn out didn't go well. Many of you know how hard it is to compete at the M+ level already, through in all of that and it was just to exhausting for me to try and hold it together. I'm sure most of the guys will find a home as we did have many talented players, I wish them all the luck in the world.

Unfortunately this happens every time we play in one of that organizations tournaments. I'm not sure what it would take to monitor for a lack of better words, a teams roster to ensure we are all playing under the same guidelines. JDub I think it does matter, You have teams trying to compete and get better and on the other hand you have teams cheating just trying to win a small tourney. What happen to working hard and trying to play at the highest level, if your going to cheat the system, what does it matter if you win? To be the best you have to play the best, and if that means taking some lumps to get there I'm ok with that....

There is nothing better than competing against the best teams at the highest level. We got bumped this season after finishing 2nd at major worlds last year, and we are not having much success yet....yet. For us playing teams like Summerville and AZ Elite who both play hard and with class can only make you better, in my opinion. There are some very good major teams out there that I think could compete at the next level but are just not willing too.

Good morning, I had heard there was an umpire who suffered a heart attack before the first game out at Lorenzi park this past weekend. We did not play until later so we were not there, just wanted to know if he was ok.

Ron we may have to look at pitching you more this year :). Back to the topic, I think the original question was answered and should make for a fun season.

John did you get your answer?
