I watched most of the Major and Plus -- Hollis was in the Plus final - Travelers was in the Major Final - The way they both played I would say they had a good chance of winning it.

We should have played better in the game we had in the losers bracket. Those people are looking at the $$$'s more than the GAME. I know you have to have both, but! In the other organizations I bet they would have made darn sure someone knew about the change before time! These people didn't care enough to worry with it, call it and move on.

Well they sure gave us good reason to come back in another life. These people running the show don't seem to understand the amount of money it costs for a team to play for 4 days. We were hosed out of the winners bracket because the times were changed after we were told what time to show up(interesting we got a message at 317 pm that we missed our 245pm game which we were on the practice field at that time getting ready for the 445pm.). While I guess you can look at that two ways, bottomline this was a first for our 14 players . Oh everyone was sorry.. but just could not seem to understand the impact (or did they??) of a team going to suddendeath after not playing a game. Further more they were mort concerned with the team that got the bye(sure they are happy with their Championship if the beat the local team)The kicker, was that afternoon when two of these concerned people were making fun of the situation at Ceddars. I am sure they don't care ... loosing a team or two is nothing when you have 130. but our team will spend $5k or $6k in some other town this time next year. Mr Maas sure could have given these folks a education on how softball should be handled. Well overall I think our players handled this BS well , much better than the tourney people!! Nobody went to the hospital or to jail.
