We usually have a roster of about 16-players and travel a long way to get to most tournaments and more RR before the elimination round helps get all the players a decent number of games in.

March 4, 2013 Enviro-Vac	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Not Pleased with Rating System Hi Renegade12 - have played against your team and also watched you play lots of ball. You guys have a very good club and are fun to play as you always bring a good game. You will do well at M. Chico - You did not say what the name of your team was but top 5 in Reno is pretty good by any standard considering how many teams were in the 60 AAA division in 2012. I thought that the top 8 teams in Reno including our team could all compete at M and any one of the top 8 in Reno could easily have won that tournament. Same goes for the teams at the Worlds in Vegas. I also think SSUSA could move a lot more teams up to Major to make it a more interesting division to play in. AAA is a very strong division. Just my $0.02
Feb. 1, 2013 Enviro-Vac	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Message Board Good for Senior Ball What a good move by SSUSA years ago to set up the use of this message board for senior softball players. There are always so many good topics and discussions. To be able to openly discuss rules and related nuances has to add clarity to all who read the board, as I often do. I have gained some valued insight over the years from reading posts and even made a few friends.

Dec. 27, 2012 Enviro-Vac	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: survey p.s. With two strikes a batter should be hitting more to the middle so I think a courtesy foul on the 3rd strike is a good idea as it does not force a batter away from pulling a ball and hitting middle.
Dec. 27, 2012 Enviro-Vac	Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: survey 1/1 count is worth a try and I agree with MadDog, courtesy runners not being available have an impact in slowing the game down. They should be available immediately or not allowed to run. Players in the dug out should be able to make a determination of who can run before the batter ever get's to first base. Just an observation here but Umpires also seem to spend a lot of time keeping score.
