Discussion: pine tar removal

I would think that the "Bug & Tar Remover" that you buy at auto parts stores would work. You may even have some sitting on the shelf in the garage. I have used soft scrub and it has worked also.

William Wallace:
Where are these Steele bats advertised or for sale? I have not seen any reviews on the bats yet and wonder how they perform. Can you direct me where to find some information on the new bats?

Discussion: Armed Forced: Did you Serve?

Taterman: We must have met each other as I was also in C/16 Cav. My call sign was Darkhorse 20, and I mostly flew slicks but on occasion would help out the Cobra guys and fly front seat for them. I enjoyed myself in the Cobra so much that I later got a Cobra transition and went on to Cobra maintenance test flight training and spent the rest of my career flying cobras. If you are interested, Darkhorse has a web site, http://home.jps.net/~dhcntrl. It has some great information about the unit and all the personnel. It was a great unit and it provided me with some great memories and friends. Take care and keep swinging. Cobrapilot

Discussion: Ultra II Beyond 2005

I am one of the 3000, and I just did not get around to responding till now. I do feel this is an important issue and hope that the remaining 3000 also get around to it.

I vote "YES" that we do keep the MIken Ultra II and keep it well pass the 2005 season.

I made a purchase from Shannon off this post and just want to say this transaction went smoothly. He is a class act to deal with and if anyone needs a reference on this board for future purchases, I give Shannon high marks. Thanks again Shannon!

Discussion: Salem ASA Tournament contact

Does anyone have a contact name, address, telephone number, or email for the tournament director for the ASA Nationals in Salem, OR on Sep 3-6? The contact I have has not responded to emails or telephone calls and there was a previous article that indicated another organization would appoint a new tournament director. I would appreciate any information anyone can provide.

Ted;
A few teams from the Pacific NW are quite interested in what transpires here over the ASA Nationals on Sep 3-6. If you happen to find out more information on the event or the complex, please post here or email me at ricfloven@comcast.net?

Discussion: Anyone else have trouble accessing this board?

I am also having problems recently. It only happens when I go to the message board and the first screen I get is a small 2-5 line description of one of the messages. I have to hit the refresh button on the tool bar and then it pulls up the message board with all the messages displayed properly. I use windows XP and recently installed mcaffee virus scan and firewall so maybe it is related to that. I'm still not sure though because the proplem only happens on this site.

Discussion: Softball Shoes

I've tried both the Tanels and the Ringors and have found the Ringors to be more comfortable to me. The Ringors also run true to size as I have bought two pairs off the internet and they have fit perfectly. Each pair of Ringors last two years for me.
