JamesLG, if you swing a 28 Bal Miken, i would go with a 27 Bal Combat. Thats just me,i think they are off a little.
An Gary19, 350 I want it in the road on field #1,besides the chicks love the long ball.

I have used ALL of the bats out there,If you can not get a "old" Miken with 2000 ASA stickers on it, go with the Combat. I started using the yellow senior and OH MY, what pop it has. I am looking forward to getting the new one and get it broken in.

Mike, I have talked to you a few times about the new bat. I'm from Akron, i would like to see one before i order one. I will be in FL, during the TOC. If you are going to have any there, let me know what park you will be at and i'll get one from you there.

This is the same weekend as the SSUSA Eastern national. PLUS a new SPA tourney in The Toledo area. Maumee and Toledo are neighbors, maybe we can enter both.

Bruce, you are correct, I believe the same time period,BUT in Coco beach.Guess thats, stops alot of us northern teams from attending.1st is was St Louis, which was great,Gallatin was nice.Very central located, now Fl, alot of teams have limited $$$ to travel, so this one is out for me. AGAIN it comes down to the mighty dollar that the ISA can get out of it

I need some input on this. Our League is thinking of starting our games with a 1 an 1 count with no fouls, compared to a full count. Appox how much time would this save in a 7 inning game.

To all,All i use are older U-II, I use 2 that Over 5 years old. They are better then current U-II bats. Even Miken will tell you so.Only thing that comes close in the new Ultra special edition. BUT i don't use them for BP,i rotate them EVERY time i hit,an other players don't use them.Just thought you would like some input.

Discussion: PHEONIX - UNKIND TO SPA CHAMPIONS

Ok, guys I hit with the Reabok down at the SPA National,it was OK.BUT IT WON'T MAKE a homerun hitter out of a singles guy.I can hit LONG homeruns with a U-II or a yellow combat,So i can hit homeruns with this new bat. Lets wait till we see if it has the durability.OH bye the way my 3 U-II are all 5 years old and going strong and my combat was one of the 1st put out.So my durability is good, and i hit the ball as hard as ANYONE.

Well in order to have these scores posted THAT quickly, the powers to be would have to raise what WE pay.Short Knocker you are correct, with all the high tech things we have,it only makes sense. At the SPA national, they had all the brackets updates VERY quickly. If you have noticed SSUSA tourneys NEVER update the brackets online. It may be time that they get into the swing of things.

I have a 27 oz yellow combat, used it in fall league, and B/P. this summer i wanted to save my U-2, so i started using my Combat.OH MY,it got HOT,homeruns 30' further then U-2. Easily balls gone 350'.For me i might just stick with a Combat.

Discussion: Reebok Senior Bat

Curt and too all who hit the new Reebok bat. I also hit with the new bat,yes it was as a nice bat.It felt the same as a U-2, it hit the same as my new U-2"special edition". As far as "pop",i'm a ok power hitter,i can use any "senior" bat and hit a home run,to me it comes to durability, not many of us can spend the money on these bats.If Reebok wants to sell these bats, put a warrenty on them. For me i'll stick with my Yellow Combat.

I posted this message.More Info from our official,In his opionion ANY play in the infield on a ball is considered a play on the batter, even if no throw was made.
No where in the SSUSA rule does it devine a play on the batter,MAYBE the rules commitee needs to define this,so it is not someones opionion.
