Discussion: Mesquite Teams in March

Our team is not going to Mesquite (Desperado 60AAA). I would like to play with a 55 team if a team needs a player. They play me in the outfield. I can run pretty good. Really enjoy playing quality ball.

Dave, My injury was similar to yours. I thought I could accelerate the healing and pulled a rope to start our wood splitter and the pain was tremendous. It took me two full seasons to get back and actually get stronger than I was but as Curt said above, do not go too fast. Do the rehab work religiously and use the bands every day and you will be fine.

Sorry to have missed it also. Is more difficult to get there during this time of year until economy turns. Curt and family delivers the best training camp I've ever attended and they work hard to make it fun. Congratulations Curt!

I don't think Reebok will come out with a 10 inch this year. 2 piece will be out though.

Discussion: Tucson Tournament

We played 2 games on Friday and was in the 3rd inning of our 3rd game when the skies opened up and rained like crazy in Tucson. Impossible to predict and/or manage weather conditions. Tourney was cancelled and we drove 11 hours back to Colorado to some serious snow. It rained the entire way home.

If you tried to reach me, sorry, try again.

Michael, If I can be of help, please count on me. I've helped players for 3 years with their Rbk needs and I have played senior ball since 1999. Quality and personal service is my promise. If you have someone you prefer, by all means the other guys mentioned here are good people.

It was good to see a lot of guys I've known and played with and against for years. Congratulations to Rio Grande 55's and Arizona Rangers 60's. Hope everybody made it home safely. It took us 11 hours to get back to Telluride in rain, sleet and snow but did make it.

Discussion: rotator cuff rehab

I had rotator surgery in 09'. I started back a little too quick and set myself back a bit. I use sport cord stretch bands every day and my hitting strength is solid where it was weak for about a year afterward. It takes work and a commitment to keep up the therapy and daily exercise.

Discussion: Juicing To Heal & Strengthen

I recently met with a doctor in Colorado to discuss some medical challenges. In the meeting, I was told to start juicing with wheat grass and other antioxidant vegetables and fruits.

I was hoping that perhaps some of you out there may have some nutritional experience and/or juicing recipes to share with me. I would sure appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks for your time and input. Hope to see you on the fields in the year ahead.
