Discussion: Sick of these bats !

Stoneman, Not long ago I played in a kids tournament and could not use an ultra2 or any senior bat. What bothered me was none of the bats they used were legal. They were all altered in one way or another. I'm not sure that any of the teams in the tournament had legal bats. My queation is how far is far enough? I asked one guy and he said he likes the reaction of the fans when it goes 350+. My point is a homerun is a homerun if it barely goes out or has something changed.

Bruce, If they go by the ASA approved bat list then some of the bats you named will be band, also. Is that the list they go by?

I no that you cannot use the ultra2 in NSA. Are the original freaks still band? If so can anyone tell me if the stealth is a good bat?

Discussion: 5 runs or 11th. player......

Fred, I agree with you on eleven men in most cases, but, some of these qualifiers only allow you to score five runs and inning. Against some tems that can be a bunch to make up. It's almost like losing and entire inning.

Discussion: I didn't find Toto or Dororthy in Kansas

Bruce, They threw out my new u2 because the magnet would not stick to the handle. Also, the new bats do not have serial numbers. Finally, when I took the factory grip off the bat the magnet stuck and they allowed the bat. They still didn't like the idea of no serial numbers on the bat. Oh, the letters on the bat are raised liked the bat has been relabeled. They didn't like that ether.

I just got my new u2 and it looks like the originals. Haven't swung it yet so I don't no whether it hits like the old ones or not. Anyone else have their new one and have swung it?

Robbie, I have got no complaints. It was a great tourny and we needed the practice. I guess there just aren't enough teams in the south for all divisions to have a bunch of teams. You did an excellent job. See you in Dalton.

Bruce, there were no 55 teams other than us.It's the way its been most of the year. We play 50major teams or major +. But, it"s o.k. because it's good practice for us. We made a good showing. Hope to see everyone in Kansas City. Good Luck.

We are a 55 major team based out of Georgia. Instead of going to Kansas city we looked into the possibility of playing 50 AAA in Dalton Georgia. We checked with Ridge and he said we could not. See everyone in Kansas City, I hope.

Steve,
You may be right about Southern Softball, but I think since they have moved up to 55, they automatically classify as a AAA team, just like we do.

We are a good Major team, but don't rate a major +. It was good to see you guys this past weekend. You guys have a great ball team!

The best ball I have played with that was 375/44 is the Decker Shark. It has excellent carry and durability. I recommend them highly. By far one of the best balls on the market.
