Discussion: No Tourney shirts for sale during session 2

I hadn't been to the world tourney since 2017 due to back injury. Was asked to play a looked forward to it along with getting a commemorative dir-fit. On Monday we were told they sold out during session 1 and would have them at the parks Wednesday. Wednesday at shadow Rock was told they were at BLD waiting to be distributed. Traveled To BLD. and was told they had none. I was told to call main office order a shirt as I was leaving that evening. I call SSUSA yesterday and was told to contact vendor and was provided and email address. Sent email asking about shirts. Got response 2 hours later. Asked a few questions which haven't been responded to at this point.
Trying to get a shirt has been more difficult than coordinating travel, room, and car.
Not happy with this.
My team aged up this year and asked me to rejoin next year. They go to St George.

I guess I'll look forward to going to st George instead of Vegas in the future. They give you a commemorative shirt

Discussion: California 65+ player looking for team.

Due to the Covid19 my team was unable to play this year. Next season they are aging up to 70s.
I'm looking to play on a competitive 65 AAA or AA team. I've played majors but not looking to play that level. I'm a outfielder/ 2b. Not a power hitter, but I do have a extra base hit swing. I can travel looking to play with a team seeking game enjoyment and winning.

Discussion: Drum Roll...the Starting Count decision results.

I need to get on here more often. Rule change this batter will adjust. I hope it's mandatory for mask & other gear. If you know me, don't leave a pitch on front edge of plate. Game on line. It's a middle shot! Sorry.

Discussion: Drum Roll...the Starting Count decision results.

I hate one one count. When I pitched in my younger days we had 1-1 the one thing it does is increases middle shots. I quit pitching after having to constantly defend myself from injury. In the senior game guys adjust to rules to win. Middle shots will result in more rules to provide safety, back to the box around the mound automatic out if hit middle. Rule to speed game up Should involve hustling on & off field of play. If teams aren't doing so umpire should call for batter twice and then call strikes after 10 seconds. The game would speed up in the games designed structure. This change results in sending the short front of the plate pitches back at pitcher with 1-1. With regular count most of us layoff that pitch. That's going to change now. Glad I'm no longer a pitcher.

Discussion: Your opinion on best Senior Bat

Most sr player are bat junkies
Being an admitted Combat bat junkie. I've been swing Combats sr. bats since 2005, when I got my hands on the grey "Snake". It's one of the best every made. I don't use it as a gamer, but when use it smokes the ball. Presently there's a sleepe not being discussed & will surprise a lot of hitters. "The Sr.Maxum", this is the closest I've come to which swings similar to the snake bat..
The balanced model has a slight el feel. The el model hasn't arrived, will update on feel another time. It has a 15% larger sweetspot vs other models. The barrel is less tapered into a narrower handle. It scorched ball during first 20 swings. Mine (27oz BAL) has about 250 swing I've asked several player during league workout night to give it a try. Comments on the bat were very positive.
