Aug. 5, 2006 hitman#2 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: ASA Nationals in Burlington NC What teams are expecting to play in the ASA nationals in the 50's major division? The winner of the NSA 50's majors last month was Lewis Rentals....aka...Florida Fins and they plan on bringing their team up to NC. Any other teams out there in the major or major plus plan on being there? |

July 31, 2006 hitman#2 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: NSA Worlds....... I thought the facility at Cherry Park was good. For a national tournament there were too few teams. I heard last year they had it in Cullman AL, was the turnout better there? As far as the border rule for selecting players, I feel it is fair. Florida borders two other states, that should be sufficient to field a team. If you let unlimited recruiting to occur then the sponsor with the most money (i.e. Steinbrenner) will bring in the best players from all over. And if that is the case then have a seperate unlimited recruital division! And somebody said that they had handed in rosters earlier, then why wasn't this caught and brought up to the Tank team prior to them travelling to Rock HIl. I'm sure they could have registered as a FL team and had enough just from FL and it s bordering states. Something is not right. |
