barrym that would be a good bet, they won it in 07.This is not a knock against Windy City they are playing with in the rules they followed the process,I would look into the PROCESS.

Does this mean that Windy City will go back up to Major Plus for a couple tourneys for next year and plead to get moved back down again.Happened this year after winnings 7 major tourneys in 07 and two more this year after getting moved back down. How'd they do that lots of major teams that got moved up want to know.Personally we are ok with were we are,but it seems a little out of the norm.Good team not sure why SSUSA let them do this?

Discussion: Ridge Hooks comment

OK,I'm in for one comment. One night my soon came home from the bar upset about a argument he had with another patron. It was about politics.I simply told him something I had learned early in life. When drinkig booze there are two topics to avoid (politcs and religion)people become so passionate about their own beliefs that nothing good can come out of this in this state of mind, except maybe a fist fight. This being a softball site that might be good advice for posters as well.So far all I see it doing is driving a wedge into the senior softball family. There is a time and place for these topics I just don,t think this is it.To each is his own belief thats fine.America gives us that choice and that is just what it is a choice.

We often have no time for our friends, but have all the time in the world for our enemies.

Discussion: Two day vs 3 day events?

taits how about getting started friday night with the two play in games for fiftys and fifty-fives in stead of two friday morning games and done by noon until sat.which actually requires four days off with long haul tourneys. That is kind of a waste of times (friday afternoon and evening) when some guys could have stayed home and worked thursday instead of traveling.

Einstein my friend it was good to see you again. It was great to meet your team mates 4x4 Dave and Dave and the rest. Also good too see Clatta and the guys from Turn 2,Ray and Larry and Bill. And thanks again for hunting down Wood and introducing him to me.It was nice to talk to Woody a great ambassador of senior ball. And John Bob as well.Really good time with lots of friends.Well run, super competitive brackets. We lost a couple of close games and got spanked by Mavericks. All in all it was one of the best M+ tourneys I've seen. Also would like to give a shout out to my buds from Florida Sluggers Curtis,Roger and Biscuit.Congrats to all and we will be back.

I think this goes back to previous discussion were the topic was the decreased number of 55 teams do to the fact that a lot of the high level 55's are still playing 50's checking rosters for example:Gekle 50 M+ (5) 55+ players,Mavericks 50 M+ (5) 55+ players,Hendricks 50 M+ (5) 55+ players and on and on.Still wondering why the decrease in 55 M/M+ teams?

Jawood, did not assume that you were avoiding M+ teams, simply stating that to find more than 2 or 3 teams in a div. you have to do a little research and a little travel. We played you guys last year in Phoenix and it's obvious that you have a team that can play at this level and win.No hard feelings bro, just responding to your comments about know one to play.I certainly understand the sponsor money issue I think most of us are in the same boat when it comes to travel expenses.
