| Dec. 5, 2012 J R | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Grading the Rule Changes I have to comment on 70ft. Bases. Most leagues have adapted the rules to allow a runner from home plate(Ada)Leagues do not own the fields. We have to get the city or county to move them. Why do think courtesy runners are allowed.Hello we have a hard time running the bases So make it harder. For the life of why try to fix it when it is not broken. |
| Dec. 2, 2012 J R | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Altamonte Springs, Florida, 2013 Winter Softball Camp Worst thing I have ever seen. You mail in your money.1st time players were placed on a team. Then we found the other teams had been playing together for years. Most of them know each other. They are down from cold climateWas not told no Ultra Got there nothing to hit with..Worst thing was we were not told about legacy rule.Which was you could bring your son.So was playing against 20,30 year old players.Do no wast your money. We took batting practice one day. Then we played a 4 team round robin. That was what the camp was. |

| Aug. 13, 2012 J R | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Ultra 2 problems That is my question so many people here in Houston are complainning no matter how many hits the bat never breaks in .You can tell by the sound thud. Not me but big guys hard hitters complainning .I cut a broken one open .i believe they are not Ultra's. Compairing them to other broken Ultra's. |

| July 28, 2012 J R | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: What do you pay in your local leagues Houston Day league 60 dollars for 50 games includes2 shirts and 1 umpire. Night league 130 dollars for 50 games shirt and 2 umpires per game |
| July 17, 2012 J R | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: College Station, TX Tournament-Aggieland Classic Qualifier Sad to say will not be there Our 65 team could not get enough players for the tournament. |
| July 12, 2012 J R | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: PLAYER RELEASE Think about Manager puts team together.Gets committment from a sheet listing tournaments for the year. Buys shirts. Then a player jumps teams. Player was being counted on by team and manager.I say you committed so you are in for what you promised, Sittin out for a year will make you think about giving your word and standing by it.I ask the team and the majority says no. Then no release |

| June 10, 2012 J R | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Texas State Championship I have been on both ends of that stick managing aa,aaa, and major.Major teams playing down should be home team so as not to show up the lesser team with a big open inning. That could destroy a teams run differental.Plus a butt whipping in the pool games could change teams attitude for the rest of the tournament. The major teams pay tournament fees just like everyone else ,and should be able to play all games. I beleive a forfeit is 11 to zero score posted. So the team that gives up benefits from the lopsided score in team ratings. |
