Discussion: LTB 26el or 27bal yellow senior combat

I had seven NIW yellow combats and got 350.00 for six of them and 400.00 for the last one.The last one was not even in the wrapper. Some are willing to pay for what they want.
Supply and demand.

RAY as far as I know there was not a Centurian model Combat last year. Not a ten inch barell model I'm sure. This bat is a new model for 2012. Bat is White w/ Black or Navy Graphics.

This bat is the real deal.Obviously don't know about durability yet but, from an offensive perspective bat is awesome. It does swing a bit end loaded but I swing 27 oz and the one I used was 27 and I was fine with it.

Bullet The Gold one is a"trophy" bat.I got a one for being MVP at the TOC but, I've never seen anyone use one as a game bat.I would assume that it's just a regular U2 with a special paint job. To answer your question there is a used one for sale on EBAY.

pitcher 55.I don't see where anything would have to be mailed. The Poll can be set up on line just as the player registration is.Sign in using your registration number - complete the poll -hit send. Depending on the format the Poll data can be assimilated and results calculated in a matter of hours or a few days max.

Crusher-they are not the same person.

I've played against Pricer and have actually seen Gary play .Have communicated off line with them both as well. Both good guys.

Discussion: CR

mad dog; The ISA Rabbit rule is not the same as the Courtesy Rule we have as Seniors.

ISA rule is ONE "Rabbit" per game not multiple "RABBITS" per game as happens in our Senior game. ONE Rabbit must be designated before the game begins and then can run as many times per half inning as possible for the same hitter-not multiple hitters.
There is no ambiguity or mis-intent to the ISA rule.

Personally if I'd choose the Rabbit rule over Courtesy. Some might not like the Rabbit rule because it would take some of the "Strategy" out of the game.

Discussion: courtesy runners

I think that Gary 19 is correct. He's not saying that we don't need courtesy runners. What he is stating is that the CR rule is abused in its current form.I agree.

Taits:
How should three courtesy runners back to back be considered strategy?

FOFO:
"Major and Major plus don't get courtesy runners if they can't run.If they can't run are they really a elite player?"That is your statement.

I would think that anyone that doesn't have to run the bases should be considered elite.Get a hit then go sit down while "your" runner does the other half of what you went to the plate to do. Barring being injured the batter/runner should finish his time at bat.But as FOFO would have it- that's only if your playing AAA or AA .If you play Major or Major plus suck it up!

I think a lot more of us agree that the rule is abused and have witnessed it first hand.To say that it is not (abused) is simply not true.

More of you are disagreeing with the the Messenger (Gary) than the message.
