| Oct. 28, 2008 pifas | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: 55 Major players needed for 2009 season What's up guys ? I saw that the Silver Nickles are looking for a 2nd/3rd baseman. Well, I can play a pretty good 2nd base. My arm is a little suspect but getting stronger. I can still throw guys out.I can hit for average and power. I have played with the Mavericks, the Wongs. And this season with Team Demolition.Also I prefer to bat 2nd or 3rd in the lineup. But willing to work my way up. | Oct. 26, 2007 pifas | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: team wongs Gary Heifner The reason we did'nt go to Phoenix was because we had 3 of our starters hurt. We were going to go without them until they started complaining about our roster and one of our players. Even though I told them we had 3 starters hurt, they still did'nt let us go with what we had. It's bad enough not to go with a full team and then told we STILL could'nt take one of our players, well, that was enough for me to pull the team. As far as Vegas being a fluke, I don't think so. We started to come around as a solid team.I don't know what would of happend in Phoenix but we would have played our hearts out. But come November in Vegas,we will be playing Major.We also picked up a couple of great hitters to compete in in the Major bracket. Look for us to play competetive in the new season. I told them along time ago we were NOT going to play.I think they are doing this to keep my money.They dragged us on with this whole thing just so they can keep my money. I an NOT going to let them get away with that .I will do what I need to do to get my money back.Good luck to all teams in Phoenix. Wish we were there. |

But doe'snt hit them 400 ft. When he is hot, like any body else, he will hit it out.Just like you, me anybody..But he hit's for average. Good power for a small guy..But to complain about him as a Super Major impact player, No.That day in Vagas, we would have won without him. The team hit that well.Nothing more. WE HAD A GOOD TOURNY.THAT'S IT ! |

He is a great player who played on a super major team..It took a team effort to win in Vegas..We were hot that day,thats all. Nothing more. And like I said earlier,He had been playing with us ALL year.No one said a damn thing about him when we were getting our asses kicked. What a shame that there are still cry babies out there at this age.PITIFUL.We were planing on moving up Major and give it a try any way after Phoenix..But oh well, that\'s the way the ball bounces as they say. |

Once the complaints started coming in, they decided to start checking our roster.Everything was in order but still would not let my one player they complained about play.That\'s when I said the hell with it. We are not going.And on top of all that, they do not want to give me my money back. I am going to fight for it. I am not rich. I work very hard and alot of over time to sponsor these great group of guys. |
| Oct. 18, 2007 pifas | Topic: Website comments Discussion: tourney in Phoenix I just want to say how dissapointed I am over my team, the Wong's, haveing to drop out of the tourny in Phoenix.Just to make this short and simple....Where was all this bitching and complaining about our team during the season when everybody was kicking our butts ?? All of a sudden we win a big tourney in Vegas and everybody starts crying about our team..We were 3 and 25 in tournament play before Vegas..All of sudden. we win and there's an uproar over our team ! We had a player that was released by the Mavericks who plyed with us ALL year.Everybody knew who he was. Why was'nt anything said about him then ?? Every body saw him playing with us..But because we were getting our butts whipped, no one said anything. All of a sudden we win a big tourney and all the 50 year old babies start crying. What a shame that this happened. But it's o.k. We are moving up to Major. So look for our team to do the best we can. And for all you cry babies out there, well ,you don't have to worry about playing us again. Good luck to all the teams in Phonix. Wish we would have been able to play. |

I have a sponsor.Iam looking for guys who can hit. I am not worried about defense. If you play the infield, just make the play.If you play the outfield,just catch the ball.We are not looking for super defensive plays. We want guys who can hit. This is going to be an offensive team.
