Discussion: Fuse or not to Fuse

Reggie544, I have had some serious wrist pain (during winter months not playing softball I bowl and lift some weights) saw an orthopedic surgeon and was told to take a cortisone injection...works wonders...might give you the relief you are looking for.

Discussion: Neck Surgery

Fenway,

I had neck fusion (C5-6-7)this past October. I have returned to doing everything I had done prior to surgery. I am pain free, able to throw, hit, run as good as ever.

Discussion: Call for Prayers for John X.E. McAndrew

Asking that everyone take a moment or two to say a prayer for John X.E. McAndrew......he was recently life flighted to Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philly due to a serious medical condition. I am sure X.E. is a name that is well known across the board, a great athlete, competitor, mentor, coach, team mate and friend. X.E. has never been too busy to take the time to talk softball with anyone...never mattered what level you played at he was always willing to give tips on hitting....something he has always excelled at! X.E. is a member of the Softball Hall of Fame at both state and national levels....always an ambassador of the game. So I ask that we all take a moment out of our hectic schedule and say a prayer for a quick and full recovery for our dear friend!

Does anyone have updated information on the umpire that was struck in the head by a bat at Lorenzi field on Saturday during the 55AAA games?
