What is up with the metal inside thew handle of the U2 ? Had an old large speaker in the bed of my truck and when I returned home from practice I found my new U2 stuck to the magnet on the speaker...Can anyone explain why its' there in an "All Composite " bat ??

They are (redo) made in USA...It's my first U2 and I am thoroughly impressed...Do U2's get "hotter" with use ?

Well after playing in several Senior Tournaments I have come to the obvious conclusion that...God didn't create all batters equal...Miken Ultra II did !!

Just because a manufacturer states "No warranty" does innoculate them from a DEFECT in the product incurred during the manufacturing process...Certain States are better than others as far as protecting consumers for just this sort of thing...Each State has an Attorney Generals' office with Website for registering complaints and walking U through the process, kinda like the "Lemon Law" and the right to have certain assumptions pertaining too a particular product...BTW I not a lawyer but I drive by the Holiday Express @ least 2x a day...IAMFISH.

I believe that there's a fine line between crushin a softball and crushin a bat...I try to hit/cut the ball well and let the bat's flex take it from there...Hitting too hard overcomes the bats flex point to the point of failure...Kinda like just swingin eazy in BP and outa nowhere U absolutely launch one way gone effortlessly-That's the line I'm takin about...Course if I Had a endless supply of bats I would try and break every stinkin one of them every stinking time !!

Two thoughts on this matter: By virtue of removing from the handle 1-2.5 ozs, wouldn't the bat thus become "end loaded" or at least as compared to the original weight distribution; And secondly didn't the bat recert process consist of removing weight from the bat head (plug) and adding it to the handle by inserting "Pin weights" ?

I left SB in 2000 and must have missed all this crap...Thanks IAMFISH.

Hey Guys...I just ordered one 28EL, is there a temperature warning for these bats...I'm "new" to the wonderfull world of composites...By the time my alloy bats had 300 hits on them there were through ! getting "hotter" is new to me...Thanks...IAMFISH.
